Which NFS game for PC?

I played hot pursuit back in the day and havent played games for a while but recently recieved a gift card and decided to get a racing game.

I played the NFSUG2 demo and thought that seemed really fun but have also noticed some good and bad reports about some of the other NFS games. I really like street racing games and the whole customizing cars deal so I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on would be the better choice to get.

nfs most wanted wins hand down, carbon is just crap so dont bother. played mw on a ps2 and it wasnt great, pc is always better.

I prefer MW way cooler. now if can just find a way or program to change the polices carz in each heat level except crosses car that wood be sick.
