New NFSPS Screenshots
The online magazine Games Radar has posted 12 new screenshots for NFS Pro Street, all screenshots are in high resolution (720p) and nicely detailed (notice the driver with a face & helmet). There is also a new car shown which is the Audi RS4.

The pictures are great and all but they don't really show much. I could barely even tell the difference between the old and new pictures.
And why would you put decals on the part of the windshield that the driver is looking through? The guy even has to stick his head out the open window!

exactly what 2furio said. we need to see in game footage. remember what happened when we all fell head over heels for carbon's flashly looks but once we were in the game, the disappointments came rolling in.
I wanna see how drag has changed or stayed the same and the tachometer and hud displays and how it adapts to the in game real graphics.

This is how I expect the game to look like with the overdone reflections:Sweet-16 wrote:how are they different? the game engine looks the same to me and the reflectiveness of the cars is way over-done!

Look how realistic this picture is:

- the hills in the background are freakin' photo-realistic, no way does EA have this kind of engine.

The hills look realistic because they ARE real. Photo texturing? Oh yeah, been there done that. Gran Turismo 3/4, Project Gotham Racing 3, etc. Photo texturing has nothing to do with how an engine is constructed, although the lighting that the engine is capable of doing could have an impact on how realistic something looks. Again, it's not the engine that makes something realistic, but the composition of lighting, materials, atmopshere, etc.
Porsche-AG, the second link should work now...it works for me...I don't get why an admin from this site didn't upload the pics to NFSUnlimited.
RavenGT, all I'm saying is that there is a lot of difference between the graphics from the first screenshot and the 2nd one. The hills were only one example. Do you want me to go into more detail? How about the reflections? Both pics are in midday....I don't care what "atmosphere" was set in each pic, the reflections are totally different.
Clearly there are major differences between the 2 sets of pics and if you cannot see that EA is altering the pics (like they've done in the past in the UG2 and MW pics), then you must take a closer look.

yeh yeh.. take a look at the helmet!!!! so, will the helmet if its all CF reduce the overall weight of car? i mean if they already go for realism and details...
if not, i realy dont care about helmet and face behind it. Most of the time i will be driving car. As long as that is fun to me, ill play game... and i believe thats what they want me to do... play the game...
So, spend some time on creating game that is fun to play... not some pretty face behind the helmet...
One more thing... One of 3 most importatn things this year is smoke?!??!?!?!!! Way to go EA!¨!!
That says nuff!
