but i'm happy the RX-7 is still in the game, it's one of my favorite cars...now if the S2000 could make a return, I'd be much happier

I'm pretty sure it's a Skyline, although they write GT-R Proto with out the Skyline in front of it...it is a Skyline, a GT-R R35....

As you can see, the car is a Nissan GT-R, not a Nissan Skyline. While I don't deny that this is the future of the Skyline, you can see that Nissan has done away with calling this car Skyline, out of respect to the car of legend, marketing, or for whatever other reason. Fact is, that while this may be the future of the Nissan Skyline, the lineup of cars called Nissan Skylines has officially ended.

and this is the new generation....but looking at ur link 2furio has made me think a bit....imagine the car with out that piece of cover....u will see that those headlights look exactly like the GT-R Proto

You've got me there. Fact is, Nissan is not calling the prototype by the name Skyline, but others (including some notable sources, such as Road and Track) are calling it such. It is known that this is the future of the Skyline, but it's not known whether or not the Nissan GT-R production version will bear the name Skyline.

Despite that, this is still the Nissan GT-R Proto, and not the the Nissan Skyline GT-R Proto. This prototype does not officially have the Skyline name branded to it.

First,Welcome to the Nfsunlimited Forum.

We donâ€t know yet if there is going to be a Ferrari in the game,but as we saw in the previous NFS Games ,Ferrari didnâ€t exist on their Car List.Now,we will live and see if EA really changed.

Well, EA surprised us with the BMW...who knows. I am waiting to be pleasantly surprised with at least one Ferrari in the game. Maybe if Ferrari sees this NFS has a more serious tone to it, they'll let their cars to be featured in the game.

hmm Recycle list part 1.
Got the weird feeling that the RX7 will be exactly the same old version as in all other NFS games from U1.

who said that all these cars will be tuneble? I did not read it anywhere, so don't get hyped on stuff that you don't know for sure..

The list has nice cars, the (R)S4 is a nice add, the M3 well I don't know haven't seen it yet. have to google it but it could be a nice car.

I just wish EA for once makes a nice carlist with for instance more then 1 BMW.

Only if they put the new Lancer in. I know that the Evo X is still in the prototype phase but maybe they could put it in as a prototype.

I think the Lancer will be in the game.It was in every NFS game from U1 to Carbon,so I don't think it won't be.
It will be cool to see a Toyota Soarer.It's good for drift.

some answers for ppl who are calling the GT-R Proto a Skyline...this is because many ppl are confused if this is called a Skyline or just a GT-R:

Once again, there has been no official word from Nissan whether this next-generation of Skylines will actually bear the Skyline name. Some think it will, and some think it won't. That's what's been causing the confusion. And unless you can find me a Nissan website where the car is called the Nissan Skyline GT-R, I'm not calling this car a Skyline.

I'm not forcing u to call it a Skyline, if u look up u will see that calling it a Skyline is just one of the names people call this car....but it is most preferred to call it the Nissan GT-R Proto...that's what I call it...

Has somebody took note of when EA released the 1st car list? with that we can take the time and how much days they take to release a carlist (3 weeks, 1 month, 2 months..etc)

i think i saw in the unconfirmed car list a picture of a Skyline GT-R R34 with an RX-7....but the GT-R Proto rocks!
that is my new favorite car! XD

Yeah, a Skyline R34 was seen in the background of a Pro Street exclusive article (I forget the website). A silhouette was used as a background.
