It would be a shame if they won't include the S15, everybody who knows about drifting, knows about the S15 being the kink/queen of drift. After they settled the right thing for the Drift mode, I hope they won't mess things up with the dedicated drift cars.

Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
Quite an interesting find, but there's still quite a few Subarus that could be in the game, including the latest:
An earlier WRX STi:
Or the previous generation WRX STI:

Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
the newest generation is dull and ugly IMO.
Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
the messed up big time with the latest Impreza, dunno where they were thinking .. until now, I had a hard time to choose between Evo and STi, now I know exactly that I will choose the Evo

Even the Evo X doesn't look that great...
But I'm really disgusted by the way Subaru has changed the Impreza from a 4 door sedan into a 5 door hatchback. The only advantage is that real world prices of the last 2 generation Imprezas will drop

Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
The Lancer X is decent, good, fast car.But that new Subaru is fugly.
Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
Agreed. The new Subaru style blows. But I came across the WRC concept and it's not too bad in my opinion...
Gives a little hope for the STI...

Still... it's making the Impreza look more and more like a Ford Focus. Hopefully a tuning company will tune the new Impreza into the 4-door that it should be.
That would be a great idea for a Chop Competition

the new sube looks like a messed up saab
Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
true things you speak .. I still believe the best STi is the one that can be found in nfs:u2 ... look at this WRC one, it's merelyPorsche-AG wrote:Still... it's making the Impreza look more and more like a Ford Focus.
a concept car, besides it's ugly, it's a hatchback and needed some tuning attention(look @ the body kit) to look somehow pleasant to the eye. Where's the EVO/STi competition now?! The only thing pleasant for me, it's the LED rear lights.

Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
adds my 2 cents regarding the STI's great exhaust tone and then puts these mofo's on a rail back on topic...
Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
we are on topic lad, we are talking by a car taht will probably has it's place in the game. Nothing wrong here

Niiice find. The smoke is freakin' amazing. And the graphics in general looked awesome... The cars, the road, etc. The hood view could use some work though... When the hood was coming off, there was no engine under there, you can see straight to the road...
Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
awsome! this game is a simulation if no one knew, i mean, if u watch that video, it shows that you cant drive around corners at 80mph or over because you will crash in a wall, guess nfs game has changed alot now

There is a logic behind it, Hatchbacks have proven to be better suited for ralley driving then sedans are (and more practical in normal use but that's a diffirent matter )
Everything that is sticking out of the car behind the rear wheels is useless bagage, and is extra amount of car that can be hit in a corner that was taken abit wrong.
Look at what the competition is today and what is winning WRC races for years now... exactly, hatchbacks, it started with the 206 and after that the Xsara, and now it's the Citroën C4 and the Ford Focus that are dominating the WRC.
Where in the past the EVO and WRX where masters of the WRC... where are they now? you sometimes see a Subaru in the top 10 but the EVO isn't even in the top class anymore
Look don't get me wrong, a Imprezza looks best as a sedan cause it always was one, same goes for the EVO. but then in racing it's not about how a car looks or what bodystyle should be used because it "has to be used for that car", it's about WINNING, cause good looks are nothing if you finish last.

Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
I sort of figured, but then they should have the "WRX STI" and "WRC Rally" versions of the Impreza hatchbacks (whether it be 3 or 5 door) and leave the "WRX" and normal Impreza versions as sedans. That way, practicality (baggage space) and good looks are saved for people who aren't going to be drifting down dirt mountain roads.
Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
HAVE Y'ALL SEEN THE "AUDI LOCUS CONCEPT"... THAT SHOULD MOST DEFINATLEY BE IN PRO STREET! LOL
JUST CHECK IT OUT IN GOOGLE IMAGES, ITS IS PHAT!!!

Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
True, IMO they should make a WRX as Sedan like it always was running next to the new model, I'm pretty sure they will still make a sedan model of it, alot of car models have sedan versions and hatchback versions running next to each other.
I could argue about the bagage space cause I don't think Sedans offer more bagage space compared to a hatchback (especially when the rear seats are down in a hatchback) but that's a complete diffirent matter.
I personally don't think the hatchback version is that ugly, ok the front needs some work, but the rest is pretty good IMO, but then I am a fan of hatchbacks, ok the new subaru is not what we are used to see from them, but I think most will get used to it.

and they unveiled it way before the WRC concept ... The new Impreza is available in 2 versions, Sedan and Hatch. don't like any of them.
Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
gosh.. that rear.. one word : VIOS
Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
that's why I was making some kind of a scene, because I knew the sedan version. Long gone preety WRX
Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
