Tweaked my sig a bit. Took my like 5 tries to get it right, because apparently the taller your sig is, the closer it gets to the grey bar that separates the post from the sig.

It's an abstract signature. That's a very common thing to do. Draw a shape, create new layer, apply image, clipping mask to previous layer, then move it around and find a good spot. I just happened to choose the mouth.

Looks more like you messed something up. The amount of 'sharpen' you used so that is there is little-to-no anti-aliasing left doesn't help, either.

Well that's just your opinion. So to me it doesn't matter. I see that method used in quite a few sigs on graphics forums and such. And there isn't a way you can "mess up" like that in Photoshop. Not unless you're incredibly stupid and have no clue how the program works. And btw it actually looked better with the single sharpen rather than being unsharpened.
