As of this point, there is no legit leaked copy of Undercover anywhere. Tell your friend to be more careful. And we shouldn't even be talking about these stuff on this forum.baumaxx1 wrote:This game would be finished by now eh? Or close to. A friend found a torrent already. Could try it out at his place as there's no demo.
Need For Speed Undercover

Re: Need For Speed Undercover
Yeah, I doubt it's a legit one too....
Anyone know about release dates and what countries get what regions?
But yeah, the lack of demo is bad... I'm really hesitant about getting games unless I see how they run first...take Test Drive Unlimited... put down a full $80 for it... take it home, install it... update drivers.
Min Specs:
CPU : Intel P4 @ 2.4 GHz or AMD Athlon 2800+.
GPU (Video Cards) : ATI Radeon 9800 256MB VRAM or Nvidia 6600 GT with 256 MB of VRAM. Video Cards with vertex/pixel shaders 2.x and above are recommended. SPU
(Sound Cards) : DirectX 9.0 compatible Sound Card.
System Memory : 512 MB, 1 GB recommended
Hard Disk free space: 8 GB
DVD drive: 8x minimum DirectX 9.0C (included)
At that point, I had a 3.2Ghz HT P4, A 256mb 7600GT, 1Gb of RAM, and about 300GB of HDD space... and it was unplayable. No virus too. Oblivion was running on high on that rig.
So yeah, I spent 1-2 hours on it before I gave up and wasted my money. Prostreet was also laggy as heck.

Re: Need For Speed Undercover
Have you tried overclocking you system baumaxx1?
I was just like you a 1-2 years ago, pro street and TDU unlimited were lagging like crazy, was only able to play on med setting. Then upgraded to an X2 4200+ 2.2ghz, its helped a bit. You can try to find a dual core for your system.
Now I have a quad core system with 3870 everything is all good now, no im not showing off.

Re: Need For Speed Undercover
Does anybody have any idea as to what the ingame economy will be like ie. how easy/hard it will be to make money in the game. I did search this forum but no mention has been made of this.
Speeding along minding my own business...

That system crapped itself like half a year ago, lol. And no OC... the stock CPU fan was rubbish.2fast4all wrote:Have you tried overclocking you system baumaxx1?

Yeah, now it's an e2180, 86--GT 512mb, 2gb RAM, and most of the old parts carried over. Cost $300. Planning to get a high-end rig for myself soon, but prices have actually gone up now.

American Prices are of no use to me though. And if I can't cheaply drive to that shop, and get it myself I'm not saving anything.

Another High Stakes music running in the background. Is this a hint for something interesting?

What would you think that High Stakes could bring in Undercover?Andre_online wrote:Another High Stakes music running in the background. Is this a hint for something interesting?
Re: Need For Speed Undercover
Well if EA is gonna import the older things from the older games, i would really appreciate that EA import back all the Cars from Hot Pursuit 2...

Re: Need For Speed Undercover
Truth be told, the only cars I longed for in NFS since HP2 is a Ferrari. Doesn't need to be an F60. Having the 599GTB or the F430 would be good enough.

Re: Need For Speed Undercover
This might be the stupidest question, but I think it slipped outta my head. Will there be a replay mode for this series?

Yeah, I was looking at the countdown thing, and I was a bit excited to see that it would be out so soon, but then I checked, and saw the Australian relese date is later Curse them...baumaxx1 wrote:Gah... lame. I don't get this in AU until the 27th of november...
oh snap
Re: Need For Speed Undercover
I'll get in on PS3. Then I'll use a friend's PC copy for the showroom. Hopefully I can get my monitor soon, so I'll have 1900x1200 res screenies, as opposed to the x1080 my plasma and PS3 can manage.Striker94 wrote:Yeah, I was looking at the countdown thing, and I was a bit excited to see that it would be out so soon, but then I checked, and saw the Australian relese date is later Curse them...baumaxx1 wrote:Gah... lame.
