I spent $300AUD on a PC rebuild and I run Prostreet on high at 1280x1024. It's not that hard to get up to speed.

Gone Gold = copies are being made or already being shipped out to retailers. (can't remember which one)

I currently have an AMD 1.75 GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and an ATi X800 XL. My plan is to build a quad core computer with 4GB of RAM and a near top end graphics card but that'll set me back probably around $1200.

Yep, that's about right. I can imagine how that CPU would struggle though. My 3.2 ghz Pentium was a bottleneck when I had it.
