I have a bad feeling about this game ... could promise a lot ... but it seems EA has hidden a part from the game, which was the damn CATCH UP SYSTEM and the poor selection of parts to tune cars...

Another: "Please GOD don't let EA screw this game!!" from me?

All the classic NFS titles had catch up and very little, if any, tuning except for sliders for tuning the engine for acceleration or top speed, the brake bias, tires, etc. Yet they were still a complete blast to play! Nothing to worry about, this game will be a ton of fun.

Do you guys think there will be a collectors edition like with Most wanted and Carbon etc? I'm buying both XBox and PC versions (PC because I collect) and I don't want to shell out the money if there is going to be a Collectors edition!

Nah. I don't think there'll be collectors' editon this year. Think they might have stopped it since ProStreet..

It's crazy, Here in South Africa XBOX games are double the price of their PC brothers!!!!

holy jeebus that crazy. I remember seeing console games cheaper that PC versions in Korea but the consoles were almost twice as expensive.

I have just pre-ordered the game today. Due here in South Africa on the 21/11/2008. I am really looking forward to this game without having any great expectations. After prostreet, mere free roam will probably get me excited.

I thought Australia usually gets it on the same day when it hit the shelves in Southeast Asia, which is which is usually earlier than Europe, just as Bojan mentioned.
