Re: Favorite Car?
Favourite car... not carS. Notice the singular? And certainly not makes either.

Some people just fail at reading the descriptions (look: JewTube).

Re: Favorite Car?
I can think of much better Ford engines. The 5.4l supercharged V8 from the GT, for one. And the 3.0 Ford Duratec V6 is a better engine- both as standard in the ST220, and turbocharged in the Noble M12 GTO and M400.chimpzrl wrote: Easily the finest engine ever put in a ford car, IMO. Because they were cack. Mind you, the Taurus- 220bhp, 1600(!)KG and FWD. Doesn't exactly sound brisk to me.chimpzrl wrote: Faster than some of the 5-Liter Mustangs of it's day.

Fav of the day: AE-86 Trueno. I've seen one today. Maybe it was an 85...

Re: Favorite Car?
Fave car? Hard to say. Probably a Porsche, cause I like Porsches. I also like cars like: Audi R8, 2008 Audi TT, Nissan 350Z, Nissan GT-R, BMW M3... As a low budget used car (that's what I'm looking for) a Nissan 200sx/240sx (if I'd get it) or a Mitsubishi Eclipse. Sadly these cars are all riced.
Well, I like lots of cars, the upper ones just a bit more. Still it's a pretty useless post.

Re: Favorite Car?
Hey, Peterfaj, You seem to have to be good in choosing your favourite cars, especially that your fave cars contains the high class trademark PORSCHE, But i prefer Mclaren F1!
Be Sharp!

Yeah, it's hard not to spot that.Sharpenor wrote:But i prefer Mclaren F1!
Re: Favorite Car?
You're probably right, I got a little excited. But at least I can have one. I can't have any of the other cars. The hottest version of the Mondeo we got was the Contour SVT (195hp 1260kg also FWD), which is very rare, and the Nobles (Mind you, I wouldn't mind one) and the GT and prohibitively expensive.steelsnake00 wrote:I can think of much better Ford engines. Edit: Only the later Tauri [/nerd] weighed that much. Until '95, they weighed closer to 1400kg and had the V6. From '96 upward, they used an 8-cylinder version of the Duratec 2.5 and weighed more.
It's obvious I need to qualify this statement: I suppose It's my favorite car that I can have someday, and not my favorite ever.
[Unrelated] It does interest me, though, that a standard family saloon in Europe is classed as a compact in America[/Unrelated]

Show it a corner and it'll be slower than a Miata/MX-5...
One American car I like-Saleen S7. Not quite as cool as it used to be, but IMO still awesome...

Re: Favorite Car?
No it wouldn't actually. This is Porsche-beating American performance actually, which is weird becuase the Americans have NEVER had anything in terms of cars over Europe...Not to mention it actually beats the Saleen S7 Twin Turbo in a straight line drag. It's 'cause the S7's turbos take a while to spool upStriker94 wrote:Show it a corner and it'll be slower than a Miata/MX-5...
