the way i pronounce it Tekunorito is much closer. My Girlfriend did study japanese. She said this would be closest.
And actually, it could be a so.. damn script, i typed out quite a lot of letters and probably forgot the Ri. she told me to take the so. (i didnt know the so looked liked that so i thought it resambled the ri) And she never mentioned that as possibly being a so.
Fixed it to look like a ri now though. Took the little dot of the left and put a longer stipe there so it looks like "ij" (without the dots)

right, nice groupbuy going on.. desided to get these goodies:
So, all goodies i planned for my car pefromance wise are bought or will be on their way shortly.
Might get some extra strut braces later but that depends on how the car drives with these goodies.
Guess next is saving up for bodykit and respray.

Wow. Suspension overhaul, body-kit and full respray?
Any ideas which bodykit you'd want? I'd personally think a C-West or Do-Luck kit would work nicely, although they may be a bit extravagant for your tastes. Actually, remember the silver car I posted a page or two back? That car has JDM-market bumpers and you may be able to find a lip kit that matches that bumper style.
Either way, sounds awesome, I can't wait to see what it'll look like.

hehe i bet i wont spray/bodykit the car till 2010 really.. too damned expensive.
I know which kit i want tho.
Rear bumper stays as it is atm, sideskirts and front bumper by "Shine Auto Project", 20/50mm wide fenders on front. a Japanese S14a Spoiler. maybe some rear wide fenders aswell, but those are bolton and not swapable. Plus id need wheel spacers or wider rims for that. Well see by that time.

zomgomg R33-style wing. That is probably the best thing that you could put onto your car - with the supposedly-upcoming black respray, that'll look awesome.

R33 style o_o, sure resambles it somewhat. but this is a original Japanese spoiler for my car
R33 Wing: http://www.300zx.com.au/pricelists/Gene ... gblade.jpg
S14a Wing: http://www.draganddrift.co.uk/photos/ri ... 031513.jpg
I got the one in the last pic.
Doubt the car will be sprayed black though. Too basic for a color. nice non the less tho.
One thing tho. where that R33 spoiler is carbon, mine will be black, the rest will be green like my car
Im gooing for this look:

i'd say your heading in a good direction. i'd recommend staying with proformance parts before doing any body work. where did you find your Silvia?

Re: Texhnolith's 1998 Nissan Silvia S14a (200sx) SR20DET
I basicaly alreay have all performance mods I had planned so far.
Got bhp mods at home, suspension is on the way. going for about 280-300bhp.
Body kit probably wont be done any time soon. First see how ill like the Stage 1a performance
I found it on a SX (silvia) club forum in the netherlands (www.sxoc.nl) Its an original dutch car. so no import

I'm not sure I'd like a JDM 240 anyway. Now my R34 I do plan on getting JDM. And yes, I do plan on owning one one day.
Anyway, what do you do for a living? Your house is almost as nice as the car. =P

Mind you, my car is not a 240sx.. its a 200sx (quite the difference in engine)
And its not my house. Thats at a friends house.. actually his parrents. He himself owns a S13 with RB25DET engine.. 350bhp on a stripped car.. quite fast

300bhp is pretty solid. sounds like it's going to be an enjoyable car. what brand are using for suspension and body kit?

300bhp on a 1200kg car sounds good to me
Suspension is by Apex Peformance. (made by BC-Racing)
Bodykit will be by Shine Auto Project if i get it someday.

Ah, the wonders of eBay coilvers. Good for drifting . . . and not much else Those other suspension parts are pretty cool though, I wish I could get stuff like that for my car.Texhnolith wrote:Suspension is by Apex Peformance. (made by BC-Racing)

these aint ebay crap coils man Oo
Many people rather have these then Tein / K-Sport or such. Half the price same quality
with Tein you just pay for the name (same as Apple)

Awesome progress.
And I think your avatar on the 360 looks close to you in the pic, even though its only your back.

So what do you think you're getting? BC Racing is another "eBay brand", just like D2, F2, G4, and whatever else.Texhnolith wrote:these aint ebay crap coils man Oo

All made in China, most likely from the same factory as well.

Don't get me wrong, I recognise that they are a good cheap option for anyone who wants to go low and sideways, but it isn't going to give you grip and handling. Not to mention that they are generally unreliable and unservicable.
In other words it's just bling, not a racing product.
lol, K-sports and cheaper-model Teins are all from the same boat, just painted different colours.Texhnolith wrote:Many people rather have these then Tein / K-Sport or such.
If you want real coilovers then you're looking at brands like Ohlins, Koni, Bilstein, etc. Otherwise, coilover sleeves like this are a good option for people on a budget

Seems you dont know much about the coils
Sure, there are always the top brands out the being 2k coils or more. And i bet you a million i wouldnt notice the difference on the road between these Apex coils and those 2k ones.
Try getting into the Silvia scene in europe. many people swear by these apex coils Highly reliable and servicable
I know some people who build their car for the track and are running these coils. These surely will give me grip and handeling.
I mean seriously, how many people do you know that use these coilovers. i bet you dont know anyone. And only think its cheap bling useless shiznit since its an 'ebay' brand as you think.
