times of races not showing up on line

for awhile now i've been beating every body on my friends list time in the career mode,just becauseit is nicer to see green rather than red on my tv.well what im getting at is i have all the best times in teir 3 in mixed track event.i have the fastest lap times in all of the races it even says at the bottom my best time but yet it says that my buddy owns and it is red with his name and time and mine is better in every race for that series?every were esle is just fine is this in the game what could be causeing this any ideas?

Probably it is a problem with the leaderboards, since they do not always record your times. It happened to me a few times, the only way to solve the problem is to set better lap times than the ones you have now and hope that the game will record them.
