Just want to talk? Come here.
Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
^haha!
I’m in Kuala Lumpur at the moment... so I thought I might post a couple of cars parked outside the hotel we are staying at. I’ve never seen a painted R35 like this before before .
I leave on my 13hr flight to London today! Very exciting... I’ve never been to Europe.

Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
Those R35's are Singapore-registered, judging by the license plates. There're plenty of weird-coloured R35's in Singapore, the worst one being a cyan.....

Hey, oldschool NFSU dudes!
On another note, last night in Perth was pretty crazy:

I saw craploads of cars today driving around, half-destroyed by the giant hailstones. As if someone bashed every panel 100 times over with a hammer. I felt sorry for the poor bastards with brand new cars. Saw a brand new new Merc, Alfa and Mazda CX9 today... completely destroyed. Luckily by the time the storm reached my house, the stones were small enough not to smash my car. yay!
The place looked like a war zone this morning!

Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
Sounds like what happened in Melbourne a few weeks ago. Luckily in my area we didn't get hit too bad, but my Civic looks like a golf ball (dimples) and the windscreen broke.
Some of my work colleagues in the outer suburbs were getting hit with tennis-ball sized hailstones, ruined thier cars and put many holes in roofs. Sounds like you got lucky

Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
Wow, goddamn... that sucks big time. I feel sorry for your civic. Sounds like it happens a little more often there then it does here. Worst storm we have had in 16 years apparently... and Barnett has considered it a 'Natural disaster'. Err... I'm not too sure about that one.boganbusman wrote:Sounds like what happened in Melbourne a few weeks ago. What's the story with the civic? Are you going to bother repairing it?

Look on the bright side - increased fuel economy!boganbusman wrote:...my Civic looks like a golf ball (dimples)

Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
Hah, yeah I wish. Not going to fix it, I just recently spent money to replace the broken fiberglass front bumper and both headlights so that's enough money spent! Car is not worth anything, it just needs to last a few more years.

Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
The engine still runs good, so I can't see any reason why it shouldn't last that long
Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
Yeah, but will YOU last that long?

Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
Hmm, good question . . . I did spin the car the other day Going a bit too fast when I was running late for work.
Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
Jezuz Well, I’d probably want to hang myself after two years of driving around in a Civic… but it sounds like your Civic is already trying to kill you. At least you didn't spin into a stationary Falcon this time round!
