I saw that other post you made before you deleted it.

You said that you were a mechanic that worked in a Ford dealership.

If that's not lying then I don't know what is . . .

Well you are only 17 . . . which means you must have dropped out of school.

So I s'pose that you can't get a different job.

Although school is gay, it's a big help when you want to get a job.

I thought about being a mechanic at one stage . . . well not anymore lol.

Both holden and ford are better than each other in their own respects, ford beats the crap outta holden with its low range tourqe figures but the new HSV LS2 6lt V8s give holdens a higher power to weight ratio. Personally i prefer holdens i just reckon the look and go better over distances

Dunno how you figured that out . . .

When will Holden start using OHC? I've said this before, but Holden can't catch up with Ford's engines until they get some newer technology into practice.
They've finally upgraded from the Buick V6, so why haven't they done the same with their V8's?

but is ohc really the way to go imean if they are so good why dont they use them in the drags where their is real horse power there must be some dissadvantage but man i love those turbo 6's ford made a very good choice there opting agains a supercharger well in case ya missed it on the other thread here it is agian a joke for yas lolz

I have no idea, but perhaps it's against the rules, like in V8 Supercars.
And they use OHC in Formula 1 so it must be good.

true that about the f1's but they are a complete different breed of engine i mean a just say a 4.ol v16 as comapered to a 6.0l v8 and the technology in a f1 eng is really space aged lol

It's actually a 2.0L V10. And they make about 800-900 hp.
But yeah, they are definately very different.
Maybe pushrods work better for big-bore high displacement engines? You're a mechanic, so you should know. :D

Whats with all of these guys, saying "I like ford better, because it has the mustang" etc.
It really annoys me, cause many more people are familiar with ford, because its American. But in this forum we are descussing ford and holden in 'australia only' right?
(ie. Ford Falcon, versus Holden commodore). We all know that ford has amazing supercars, like the GT40 and Mustang gt, but we are talking about 'ford Aus'.

If it WAS ford America, verses holden Australia, then of course ford will win, cause they are more powerful and stuff. So can we reffur to Australia from now on?

I'm not hoping, I KNOW.

Anything the Commodore can do, the Falcon does better. (apart from selling, but that is changing  )

No I'm for neither, I had a Ford Fairmont as a starter car and thats what I had to do with it. I'm tired I must have missed the earlier post of that one.

What a surprise... lowdes (and ex-holden driver) got pole

not that pole means you are going to win bathurst.... fact of the matter is... both the 2 starters (ambrose and lowndes) are both going to get flogged

Go Skaifey and Toddler!!!
