I usually keep an eye on http://www.play.com for release dates as they update them often, at the moment they have:

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
availability: Due for release on 10/06/2005

Driver 3 (Driv3r)
availability: Due for release on 07/01/2005

(UK format date btw, dd/mm/yy) as of today - 18 Dec 2004

Samuel L. Jackson is Officer Frank Tenpenny's voice. And it seems like he did a good job

on the second island, in a caravan park just off a bridge linking it with the 1st island. Hard to miss.

Bought it the 1st day it came out, and played it for like 3 days straight. Loved every bit of it. Beat the story part, I never liked looking around for all the hidden stuff, waste of my time.. best part about the game was prolly taking a car to a mod shop and ricing it all up. Took one of the crap cars (Clover) in the game, and made it extra fast haha, then running from the police i hit a tank and there goes my nice car

beleive it or not, you can. You take it to certian mod garages around the citys and you can put NOS init, rims, spinners, tires, hydralics, and pretty much everything, but its not as in depth as NFSU:1/2

Perfectly normal. Same happened with GTA3 and GTA Vice City. PS2 came first, then the PC version a while later. So don't worry, it's coming

June 10th 2005 is the official release date for Europe.

That's quite an extreme solution don't you think? I'm in the same boat as you waiting for the PC version, and all my mates keep bugging me about it 'cause they already got it on PS2, saying "oh you can do this", "you can do that", it's driving me absolutly f***king crazy!!!! AAAARRRRGGGGH!!!!

I was so pissed i almost went out to the store to buy a PS2 just for San Andreas alone, i'm still tempted.

But I think the PC version will be tonnes better than the PS2 version, like Vice City was, and i don't want to spoil the experience when i play it on PC. I also think if we give Rockstar a little more time to make the PC version, we humble PC users could have somat incredibly spectacular, and it would be so worth the wait. Patience.... good things comes to those who wait.....

lol, i have friends who bought playstation 2 only for san andreas. but i won't pay money for PS2... And i think that the gameplay(controlls, camera views...) are bad in PS2 when u play 3rd person action games... i think they are better when you play them on your PC... AND THE BEST THING IS THAT YOU CAN INSTALL MODS ON COMPUTER

And, PC games are cheaper. For example: Need For Speed Underground 2 is 120000000TL for PS2 here, but the PC version is 50000000TL lol.(1400000TL is 1$)

What do you really want? A crappy, halfmade game that's released just because some kids couldn't wait, or a more or less perfect game? I know what I want... R* knows people are waiting, so sending a million emails to them won't do anything good. It would rather make R* contact your ISP, and you'll lose your internet access for spamming.
