7 All the way.
But I still respect the 8, mainly due to the powerplant, still based on on the rotary made by Felix Wankel.

But it is NA, the 7 is TWIN TURBO!!! More power stock too, though there is a turbo kit for the 8 in the works, but the 7 is faster.

I like the 7 looks, the doors on the 8 makes me feel like puking on it.
Oh and the 8 is being outrunned by NA FC's and old FB's.
Well even 350Z's lose to FB turbo's

And most people include the 20B conversion on the RX7 mods list...
13B may be old, but it is lightweight, high powered and does a walkover on a piston if you say 2 rotors vs 2 pistons though that isn't a really fair comparison.
Grez knows a little about FD's, they are dangerous, they tend to hook you if you read too much on them.

The RX-8 is not as good now becaseu it just came out. When your looking for mods the RX-7 wins that caseu it has been out for like 13 years the 8 has been out for like three. Give the 8 a couple years and it will be even. My friend test drove an 8 and said it was mad fast so they would be close when compared stock.

the Rx7 owns the Rx8 anyday performance wise...but the rx8 does have better looks but i still love those flip up headlights

RX-7, i love it way better than RX-8's but.....the RX-8 mazada speed edition which i saw at 7 stock was pretty goot.......but the RX-7 is one fast mofo

The RX8 is more of a luxuary car compared to the RX7 which is a sports car with very limited room within the cabin (Pretty much every RX7 from 70s to late 90s)

I hope they ditch the new RX7 in favor of an SF3P RX8 (current one is SE3P), both because the RX7 is stupid without its flip-up lights and becuase of the marketing involved in naming the car after the supposedly older, outdated, and discontinued model -

Salesman: Welcome to Mazda! You could buy an RX7 or an RX8.
Customer: Umm, RX8 has a higher number, so it must be better than the RX7 by default! I'll take eleventy-six!

i rekon the rx7 because the was somthing on t.v but it said that the rx7 is better perfomance but the rx8 is better in body looks

after looking at a RX-8 upclose for a long time I like it! and I had to use it in NFS U2! now I like the style even more!

I think it looks simply better then the RX-7 but he that is just me.

Well if they name after the RX-7 it has a lot more benefits.
A new RX-7 will awake memories with the FB, FC and FD owners who allways dreamed of a 4th generation.
Believe me, they would be happy even if it just was the old FD.
And if Mazda did bring it back, they would be out top since Nissan is only offering NA cars...

i love the rx-8's style but sometimes it looks a little too chubby or puffy. those lumps on the side take away the sporty look of the car, in my opinion.
