Really glad you like the changes, jemc. Seems a lot of people agree with you. I'm hoping it will bring a new feel to the showroom, as well as open people's eyes and show them just how dynamic the showroom really is.

The featured car of the day is selected by an admin and is shown on showroom main for 24 hours. We intend to show off the work of some lesser known and newer members in this way to bring you guys to the garages of exceptional modders you might otherwise miss. Of course, the regulars and populars aren't entirely exempt from gaining a spot on showroom main for a day, we'll be mixing things up to keep it fresh. It's an honour to have your car appear there, I intend on congratulating the owner of each feature by dropping a note on his(her) garage and R/Cing whatever else they have on show.

So how many votes do you need before you get a ranking?

The new stats in the showroom are cool, but I think that people will only vote for the top 10 or maybe Top 100 cars.

And I WANT to see how much points my cars have.
E.G.: i have a Skyline with Rank: 445. When I viewed my garage last week i had 9.25/10. From now on i won't know how much it will have :!:

Yeah, I really want the score back, so you can also see if your car is worthy when it hasn't got enough votes to be in the showroom yet

The score is kinda useless, since 90% of cars have got an average rating bigger than 8.

I assume this is the reason why mods have changed the system.

it's just better the way it is. you'll see if the car is worthy to keep in the showroom later.

The rank rating is much better then pure numeric score. The ratings were so extremely biased toward 9 and 10 (8 or less was/is consider a low score) that it had lost its purpose.

Though it would be nice if one could still see the exact score somewhere (atleast for own garage).

Does anyone think a 1-5 rating system would be better than 1-10? I think it would be easier to know what each number meant since there is only 5 instead of 10.

1-Horrible and ugly piece of junk.
2-Not very good. Needs alot of work.
3.ok. Not bad but not very good.
4.Good car. Maybe something like wrong spoiler or ugly front bumper.
5.Perfect car. The whole look of everything fits perfect and looks very well put together.

I dunno, something roughly like that seems easier and more simple to me. Just a thought.

No, the 1-10 rating is better IMO.

Yup, 1-10 is better (regardless, that scores below 5 are rarely used). For this many cars (nearly 7000) rating system of 1-5 would not create enough variety. There would dozens of cars with the exact same score.

There's something wrong with the ranking in the "My favorites" section of the garage's.

When you look at your "Favorites" and read under the pic, it says
" Ranking: Not enough votes", but when you click on the pic, you'll see that the car DOES have enough votes.
