VIDEO PROOF VW Golf massive Glitch

Post by _nacho_ »

ok after being farely mad about the vw golf being the drift car and yet its fwd. i did some testing and i found out that for some reason the vw golf can do a rear wheel burnout thus almost making it rear wheel drive yet when on the dyno its fwd. what is up with that. heres the link http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick ... 0&warned=y

so yet more proof ea made big mistakes in this like cmon a front wheel drive car owning in drift get real[/url]

there's a 4wd model too for the vw golf, and this kind of traction can be transefered almost totally (90%) just in only front (or rear) wheels if the conditions require this (btw, this wouldn't be visible in NFSU2, no iced streets or similar extreme conditions...). I don't know if the golf in UG2 is supposed to be this kind of golf, but it's possible to have 4wd on the golf, so it's possible to see a rear wheels burnout...

yes there is an awd golf but the one in u2 is the fwd model bc if u go to the dyno only the front wheels are receiving power if it was awd all wheels would be seen moving.

Your pic doesn't really prove much - you could have yanked on the handbrake for all we know..

Could you please post a different pic? A different view would tell us so much more.

golf glitch

Post by _nacho_ »

heres another pic since there is some question about this glitch. http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=206006

also if i used the handbrake to do that u would see the trail of smoke and my spedo wouldnt read 0mph. also ive discovered this glitch only works in drift, and u cant do a front wheel burnout unless u go up against a wall. if u use the ebrake it just revs. anymore questions feel free to ask.

P.S. if ya dont believe me try it urself.

heres more pics

also in most of these pics my back is to a wall so theres no way i could use the e brake to create the smoke.

Doesn't the Golf GTi R32 have 4WD?
Of the FF normally and AWD when the front slips?
I think that was Golf's solution to that, if I remember correctly.
Still the car is very bouncy on street X, I fly through corners (No tire contact making steering hard due to too lightweight) than I drive.
Though it is a nice oversteerer, it doesn't have the will to spin out.

For the most part, I am somewhat believing you. BUT, in a few of those pics posted, the rear tire nor frot looked like it was moving.

Yep the R32 has 4WD. VW calls it 4motion. It's also aviable on the GTI.

That's the system your talking about. Under perfect conditions the power is 60% front and 40% back. (Figures could be different)
If conditions get worse and the front is slipping or losing traction the power gets transferd to the back.

So maybey a spin with the rear tires is possible because the front has no traction at all and its too much for the rear to deal with?

i notice a number of you talk about the awd drive golf but in nfs it is the fwd model u can see this for yourself if you go to the dyno. and corolla it looks like u still have some doubt, im telling ya try it urself in drift mode(only works in drift mode) in any other mode it cant do it. also i should tell u in drift mode i believe that the golf is awd because if u go nose against a wall and floor it the front tires will spin but not the back ones. however if u try a front wheel burnout by using the e brake the engine will just rev. its weird. also corolla ive provided 6 pictures and it is very hard to get a picture with the wheel moving bc when u take a screen shot it is only 1 frame it gets so it would be very hard to get a blur. i am trying to get a short movie of it using a video capture program but quality is very low. if u still dont belive me we can always go online and i will show you.

I wouldn't go as far as saying it is the best drift car because I have tried it.
Doesn't handle that right, it is like a mini impreza though it demands less space to turn around.
I like the RX7 for drift (MAN how many times have I said that?) little space demand and instant change in drift lines.

ya i dont like the golf for drift either i prefer the gto or stang. my point is it should not have rear wheel power since the golf in this game is the front wheel drive model yet in drift it seems to be an awd model, just ticks me off a bit bc u see people using it for drift and its always the top points scorer bc it takes no skill to drift with it.

video

Post by _nacho_ »

ok it seems like no one wants to believe this so i made a video the quality is kinda bad but u can still see the proof, so heres the link proving that the Front wheel drive golf which is in nfsu2 seems to have rear wheel drive capablities in drift mode and only drift. and dont say this golf is all wheel drive bc on the dyno only the front wheels move and in any other mode it is impossible to spin the rear tires. so heres the link

http://www.angelfire.com/fang/boss429stang/index.html

follow the link...

sorry bout the dl speeds from the link i was in a hurry
