So i finally borrowed this game from a friend of mine who has it for PC.The game looks suspicioulsy like NFS U2.It's like both games use the same engine.The car models are better in SRS though.That aside,it's a pretty good game.There are 50 cars total from 7 manufacturers(Mazda,Lexus,Volkwagen,Mistubishi,Nissan,Subaru and Toyota).This game is basically a scaled down version of NFS U2.Sure there are more cars but most of them are just different versions of the same car.There are 15 different cars,
-Lexus IS300
-Mazda RX-7
-Mazda RX-8
-Mitsubishi Eclipse
-Mitsubishi EVO VII
-Mitsubishi EVO VIII
-Nissan 350Z
-Nissan Skyline
-Subaru Impreza
-Toyota Celica
-Toyota MR2 Spyder
-Toyota Sprinter Trueno
-Toyota Supra
-Volkswagen Golf
-Volkswagen Jetta

The racing is much harder in this game,especially in the later stages.Not just because of the AI but because of the very difficult tracks.I haven't finished the game yet,i am stuck at the last two races.I have a 900 BHP Skyline and i can't beat two other Skylines who have no more than 600BHP. The physics are pretty good.I would say slight more realistic than those in NFS U2. The sounds are pretty good aswell.Pretty much the same as those in NFS U2.The tuning is not as deep as that in NFS U2.You can buy pretty much the same performance upgrades(only 2 brands) and you can only buy one bodykit for every car(for some of them you can buy 2). So there you have it.A pretty good game but nothing special.

Oh, the game is out already! I'm considering of buying this game if good comments about this game are posted.

BTW, is the game even out already for PC? Can't seem to find it anywhere in the shops... I can actually buy VIA GameStop, but the shipping fees costs as much as the game itself.

Im thinking of getting this game but can someone answer me this? I heard for every car there are like 3 versions of it. Like different years of the cars. is this true?

That is true for most cars.Mostly the difference between the same car models is the year and or the type.Like a ...... GT or GT-S you know.

pfff i just bought the game played it a couple of mins..... OK i turned my GC off and rushed back to the store where i bought it and traded it against FIFA street.... WHY: the cars handle like shiznit the tuning posibilities suck and why do u want 5 different versions from the skyline :S..... u know... ithink this game is a wannabe NFSU2 !!!! (that's for sure) so dont buy this game if ya dont wanna waist ur money !!! or download it

....

SRS has potential but the steering is twitchy and frustrating to control the cars. Kinda like what happend in the first Juiced demo only ten times worse. The Supra in the Juiced demo wasn't all that hard to control once you figured out how to use the accelerator in turning but in SRS its friggin hard no matter what you do. It's like the front wheels are glued to the street the rest of the car goes all over the place. I would not recommend SRS unless you like RWD cars that are extremely difficult to drive. Even the FWD and AWD cars are not totally easy to drive. Namco just didn't put alot of effort into making realistic/semi life-like arcade handling for the car. Kinda like NFSU2's handling. smooth yet simple easy to deal with.

@Xtreme2 u jus r used 2 the nfsu2 handling & maybe thats bcuz the camera is turning with the car...

ps-ive got this game and i like it, but it started 2 twitch

well...WHY??? and not the 1st time i played it, but later...

but in da srs r MANY preformance upgradez but not so much visual upgrades, wich could be more

if you guy's want to see nice screens. You must download the new demo of Juiced (by THQ). It's much better looking than this SRS.
And you know, when Juiced comes out on 15 may 2005 I will run to the gamestore as fast as I can
