Sadly Abrams, you cannot the class you start with is the class you get, but from what i hear, you can buy cars from other classes, while still being in your class, but they won't unlock as easy. Lets say i picked to be a tuner for example, as i go along in my career the other tuners would unlock before the other class cars would, so halfway through the game, i'd have double the amount of tuners than i would the other cars combined. And from what i also hear is that, you HAVE to upgrade your car. Unlike MW, you can't max stat any car, you WILL have to change cars. I just hope i can pump up an Elise.

Thats rather dumb then, they dont let people play with their fav cars. Whoever was their tuning advisor need to be fired then imo. In NFSU we were forced to make our cars look like space-ships and now we are forced to drive lambos at end of the game.

Nooooooo, please don't make me drive a Gallardo - if it handles as badly as in the demo. STILL haven't mananged to beat the Canyon Duel in it yet

Can't say the demo helped me choose a class though. I will first try some different classes. If they stick you to one car class and all classes are different, it's not fair then. But I don't agree with snaeper (where did he get that info anyway), I think it will be like in MW, with only difference that classes would be different of each other and in MW you first had some tuners, then some muscles and then exotics, in C they will unlock sooner.
Well, I'll get the game soon so I'll post you then how it is.

Demo helped me to chose class!!! Muscles for drift sux!!!! Gallardo handles like shiznit so Tuners for me!! Especialy coz R32 will be there!

What I meant is that I think that car classes in demo aren't as they will be in final version.

I guess ill go right with muscles as after i have played since NFS3 all cars were either exotics or tuners. So now im gonna try something new, and i guess switching car to other class is easy, i read some reviews and they say its not much trouble to buy tuners if you started with muscles. And i hope they have nice cars in tuners tier 3 category...not only some 'spaceship like' concepts...

Well i after i got the game yesterday i first noticed that you can test drive the cars so i made a comparation between Alfa Romeo and RX-8 and it seemed that the RX-8 was better so i got the RX-8

I started with the Alfa, and it's not bad and looks better than other ones together. Also about being stuck to one car class...it's not true, you can buy any class car with no problem.
Only unlocking maybe, so far I only unlocked Elise.

What u need to do is take over 3 areas first.
You will unlock more cars at the final stage(including 350Z, SLR, EVO, R34, Gallardo, Murcielago, Carrera GT, Ford GT, Impreza WRX, Corvette Z06, Viper).
