I can't tell you now, but I can tell you in SRI #55. Which is the start of the "World Diaries".

This new patch is AMAZING

I enjoy driving my Evo 9 around the place even with all those rammers because of that juicy engine sound....and turbocharger i think?
that blowoff sound is awesome

and its stock! i wonder how it will sound when it will be tuned with those 20k engines and all...

One thing that is weird is the camera.

Sometimes it just randomly, for a split second seems ...flicker...or something... that happens when im near other moving vehicles.

Other than that...i just can't wait to tune that Evo.
They are going in the right direction.

There's been quite a few changes with V5.

First off is a change in car prices. Some prices have gone down while some have increased across all three tiers. What I remember from T2 is the RX-7, Golf R32 and Evo IX now cost 60k while the 350Z is 130k. In T3 the most important price change is probably the M3 GTR which is now 1,200,000 and not 2 million. I didn't check if there were any changes in T1 though.

The new Performance Customisation is good but I don't think you can buy Race parts for any cars yet. Other than that they've added all the bodykits into Visual Body Parts and reduced the prices. The way the stats appear now is also pretty helpful when you're comparing cars as it gives you a number for each of the categories and an overall amount too. I find the 'drag and drop' way of installing parts pretty cool and easy to use.

There are some other minor changes too beginning with pursuits. You can see the reflection of the police lights in your car if the police cars are close to you. Now you even get warnings such as 'Rhino detected!' and 'Spikebelt detected!' which are a great help. Now they put a lot more roadblocks too. If you enter cooldown and then get found before evading completely then the Heat level gets reset to Level 1 regardless of what level you were on previously.

Other changes are that player names are now a darker shade of blue and the player arrows are now slightly different. While racing the route for the race is now lighter than the rest of the map, making it clearer to see.

Well that ends my summary of V5 of World. Just tell me if I missed anything.
P.S. Sorry for the long post  .

Hi all,

Since last update I have some video issues (car is transparent, I see cars behind buildings, road disappears some times), but sound is very good.
Anybody else has that?

In the future (next update please) I would really like GPS arrow for navigation, because I feel it would be a great adition in free roam. When You're in the Palmont area (the start races and sprint) it is really not needed but when You go to Camden and TG Challenge it would be great.

How many of you hit map and then teleport/join instead of cruising around/practising driving in the area. Most of You I guess just like me...
Who's with me on arrow?

maybe ur comp is a lil slow for the game, so it doesnt load the buildings fast enuf so the buildings r transparent? maybe idk

gps isnt that great of an idea because you dont need it, as you can teleport to places. (however you could use to if u wanted to drive to a pursuit breaker or cooldown spot)

Ok, just had a weird race.
I was first for most of the race.
Halfway through third, last(added, by the way) lap, 2 people who were supposedly a bit behind me instantly finished.

They were level 9, the track was North Broadway. winners time was 2.29.
Can someone tell me why the hell do suddenly 3 people beat me by instantly appearing at the finish line....
Im 100% certain they werent racing near me like any usual player would.
I didn't get rammed even once.

Im sick and tired right now, lags, bugs, laggers, rammers, afkers at the start, cheaters, unbalanced free vs paying user, 0,0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% chance to get a weakest part divided by 5 cards even if i am first.

@Elven: It's desynchronization. Slitch even pointed it out.
Hopefully, we get some major damage dealt with in this patch. I don't expect BlackBox to fix all of the major bugs, but at least make the game playable again.

At least fix the synchronization and crashes.....that will make it at least playable.
Then do something about this silly pay2win situation. I mean really, being able to get GUARANTEED parts from speedboost only packs?

Not only that, they get better parts easier while free users have to grind their asses off in hopes of getting something better than a part you have in shop.
And just in case someone GOT a part, and it was useless, EA set the sale price to some funny ~150$.

Well, the crashes (for me at least) are dealt with so far. Still the desync continues. Probably will be addressed in next week's patch.
What bugs me, though, is that BlackBox didn't address (much less notice) the desynchronization issue. It's been reported to hell in the Bug Report Forum over at the EA Forums since Version 5 was released.

That's interesting, because I have had numerous cases of 'desynchronisation' before even V5....

Say whatever you want, but Russians always find and hack their way to everything

How do they do that!?

Anyway, pics look legit...no photoshop i guess.

At least we got a confirmation of three new cars.

(Well, 959 and R34 were a given, but the Miata? i didn't expect that.)

I didn't expect a Miata either, considering we haven't seen one in an NFS street racing game since Underground 2.

This game started to be un-playable.

Logged in yesterday and the GTR handles poorly in races, although in free roam is good. Also Evo X handles poor in races, that wasn't like that before customization system.

They slowly bring the game down, they simply don't focus on already existing problems, instead they keep on adding new bugged content.

They also tell everyone that its all cool, that they listen to community feedback *if they did then World would be a great game by now * and just make new contest that are easy to win if you pay for boost and do this and that....
