The 360 wasn't that cool when I played it... but the PS3 kicked ass! Lets hope the elite works beter than the premium somehow.

S2000_Skyline12 mine has a really good Nvidia chipset in it. mines one of the few that came with the Nvidia chipset

Work better? The premium works fine. I haven't had my 360 freeze or lock up, only when I was trying to access my Media Center PC when my PC wasnt on or something...

I might buy it from the looks of it because they may sell the HDD seperate but for $140.

i think if 360 had a blue ray reader then it would be great but ps3 is the cheapest and u get the bang for ur buck for blue ray reader

well thats funny cause i run all my games on max settings. the only one that ran like crap was the TDU beta.

Yeah because it actually needed good specs to run it smoothly and even if you had that (from what I heard) it ran kinda choppy at times. But your "Max" settings depend on the game. Flex F.E.A.R. out in High or Ultra High (Since your bigshot "setup" can supposedly handle your games at high settings) and tell me about your gaming experience.

It looks like promotional materials for the new "rumored" Xbox 360 120GB hard drive are surfacing. We received this picture from fanboy reader Ralph, who says it's a shot of Gamestop's promotional poster for the much rumored 120GB hard drive. Yes, we know it's a tiny picture, but Ralph says it's so small because it was sent to him via his trendy little Blackberry. Stupid Blackberrys and their small screens. So, is this confirmation of a new 120GB hard drive and possibly the Elite 360? Not exactly, but it makes for great speculation goodness. And we all know how much we love our rumors and spec.

well lets see Doom3 and its exspasion=maxed, Oblivian=max, Farcry=max, NFSMW & Carbon=max, F.E.A.R & exspasion=high with 2gig of ram and some tweaking on the gpu u just cant beat nvidia doesnt matter if its onboard r not

Yeah. It's not possible.
When Oblivion was released I had a pretty good card for the time (7800GT) and even I couldn't play it on max.
The fps just dropped too low.

Edit: Haha. Yeah we're going off-topic big time.

Microsoft is behind the HD DVD, but they dont want to push the idea of making people use only one format, let the people decide basically. If a 360 had BluRay, that there is something wrong,

Yea the PS3 is the cheapest BluRay Player, but also the loudest, power consuming and ugliest player out.

I am most likely going to get a Elite 360 but when? i dont know lol

Blu Ray is gunna flop like everything else Sony has ever made. Even if I go a PS3 it wouldn't fit my TV...kinda dumb on Sonys part.

I dont think the PS1 or PS2 flopped...

the PS3 does have a problem upscaling to 1080p. Even some new Sony HD 1080p LCDs cant show the games in high HD quality

no, but Sony's Betamax was - at the time (in the 80s i think) it was competing with VHS... much like today Sony's BlueRay is competing with HD DVD, however a winner is yet to be confirmed.
