^ I'm with the new guy... that car is at the #2 slot on my 'cars to own before I die' list, right behind my R34 V-Spec II.

Licensing problems due to the fact Ferrari doesn't want it's cars associated with any sort of illicit racing.[/quote]
Then why weren't they in prostreet? Prostreet was legit racing on tracks . . . Even though prostreet wasn't all that . . . it would've made it ten times better with ferrari in it. The only game that i know of that you can customize a ferrari is forza 2.

Because they don't want people flipping and smashing their cars...
Re: Tri-City Car Lot and Tri-City Gazette Online
Licenses that is all.
It has nothing to do with street racing or track racing, TDU had street racing with police, and still Ferrari was in the game.
Forza 2 has damage and is a track racer and Ferrari's are included.
So there is no real rule to what type of game has them and which not.
I think it's eighter based on certain license agreements that game companies made with Ferrari, to be the only game to have certain cars.
I have the feeling EA has a extended license agreement with Porsche, because other street racing games don't have porsches included if the have they are Ruf editions which are officially not Porsches any more.
NFS has a long time relation with Porsche the 1st NFS had a 911, NFS 5 was all about Porsche.
and in Pro Street you get more Porsches then any other brand and you are racing on the Porsche test track.

So technically EA must be getting BJs from Porsche?

They must be, considering the fact that the Underground series are the only NFS games without Porsches.
