Nope, just checked again, first trailer does not mention Volkswagen in the first trailer anywhere. In the copyrights only Nissan, Subaru, Lexus and Toyota are named.

I surely hope it wont make it to the game too. Higly dislike that car.

And about the Golf.... that'd pure your opinion In europe the Golf is still one of the most popular cars. (I don't like all cars but I don't mind... I like difirence

Hmm havn't heard about the Golf yet. And yes, both TT and A3 or S3 saw it in some movie. (check nfsu2.de movie 9 or 10 or somethin)
About the Golf.. yeap sadly its higlyliked among a load of morons in my country. (holland) I hate the car because of the ppl that drive it and the way they drive it here. (not saying every golf drive is a moron. but alot are

Well the drivers are a fact... if you looked under my advatar you probably seen I'm from the Netherlands also...
I do fully agree that the average Golf driver is a damn ricer (mostly Golf 1, 2, 3 some 4) and most Golf 4 and 5 drivers are people who lease a Golf cause they thing they impress people by it... but it is a pretty good car...

not my style, I prefer a Toyota.... although I drive a 206 diesel

I think most 4 and 5 drivers are a above the 'average' age. Like 25 or something.

But the 2 and the 3 are the ricer hell ones. Seeing those 'Hey, just got my drivers license and I bought my ricer Golf' kids. Ofcourse, a Remus, a open airfilter too close to the engine, huge bodykits that spoil the aerodynamics because they buy the ones with sharp edges.

Which movie is it in nfsu2.de? I'm not going to check them all..

Haven't seen the A3/S3 before. But I doubt it that it's a S3. Why not just a standard A3? Basically the same if you put a bodykit on it.

Why are you so sure that the VW will be a Golf? The NFSU2 VW that was on a screenshot in the NFSU2 thread, was a Polo... I thought it was a Golf V, but it wasn't... Or is this the third time in a very short time that I've been wrong about cars?

LOL since when is a BMW a exotic...

some cars like the Z and M series... but BMW in general....

BTW I looked at the movies and ther where a few shots at the start of some hatchbacks... but I could not figure it out if it was a A3 or not...

A polo sounds unlikely... the older polo is a popular tuning car (visual that is... like everything here) but it has no power!

I think we have to wait till we see more screens... or the original game...

I'm sticking to the Polo... The Corsa is confirmed, right? A Polo isn't much weaker than a Corsa, according to Auto Motor & Sport the Corsa comes with 60-125 hp, and the Polo has 55-100 hp. Sure, a Polo sounds unlikely, but so does a Corsa. It could actually be a Lupo (50-125 hp)...

There has to be at least one car in the same class as the Corsa, and I'm thinking VW Polo/Lupo, Ford Fiesta/Fusion and CitroÃ«n C2. And maybe the new BMW 1-series

i heard the total number of cars 32 or 33 from EA ppl themselfs. Not sure which is correct..

And to clear up some more stuff:
- not all cars from Underground 1 will make it into Underground 2.
Which means that the Integra, RSX, Civic, Golf and Neon might not be in NFSu2.
- The game needs to be seen as a tuner culture game "nfsu2 is not just about racing" as EA said. Hence the SUVs

Hmmmm.... Very interesting. It does actually look like A3, new body style. It's a surprising choice, because EA said they would put cars they feel will be 'huge' on tuning scene in future, or already were in the past... A3 is neither, really. Old gen A3 was a rare choice - it's an expensive car. But here it looks somewhat very similar in those taillights.. And the other car? Looks like Golf Mk3 to me, but the quality is shiznit, so really, your guess is as good as mine.

I had the same Ideas and problems cause I could not make sure what it is...
I think it would be cool to see 2 audi's (well more euro cars is never bad!

your right about the A3, BTW the top version the Sport version of the A3 I seen it driving.. I didn't know it was already out, I know it wasn't a normal A3 cause of the bigger new style grill and the rear lights where difirent from the normal NEW A3 and it had some big engines and it looked wider...
simply real cool.... but the normal A3 (new one) is a nice car but really expensive...

It would be fun if the Golf was changed into a Golf I or II GTI...
or the VI 32

The car in game has a very A3-ish roof line. That's the biggest convincing part for me. May be that other car I think is Golf 3 is actually old A3? They do look somewhat similar - golf 4 is different for sure. So may be VW decided to put all the Audi's instead into the game? Well, if so, than I'm doomed to own NFSU2. For sure, the more I look at it, the more I believe it is A3..

There is also A3 Sportback that's out - with 5 doors, looks nice. The S3 you mentioned is not out yet - it will be soon, to the best of my knowledge anyway. But that pic on top is just preview. The car isn't out (shouldn't be anyway - but you say oyu saw smth... so i don't know). The A3, Audi TT, Lexus IS300, Infinity FX45 (if predictions aren't lying) - all cars for my NFSU2 showroom.

Well it was near the Dutch VAG import centre... and it looked like a car from there cause it was so damn new the disks even where shining... just like the tires... like it came streight of the factory.. (but then polished and cleaned...

) it had a little red logo next to the A3 logo...

I don't know

I only know it was standing next to me in a traffic jam...and it was nice...
I would like to have a A3 as a replacement for the 206...

The little red logo can mean Audi Sport Line, or Kamei grill. Sort of like Audi puts the S_sport logo on the steering wheel of the sporty models. So it could have been some Sport line car, but could be S3 just as well - with DSG gearbox and 3.6motor, (or smth like that - good stuff anyway!).

I looked at some pictures of the A3 and the one I saw was a sportsback for sure...
