LOL! I wouldn't blame them.vZv wrote:If I would EA, I would eliminate whole tier system...
P.S. By the way EA, surprisingly to me, remowed my post on their forums where I sayed that their tier system is crap ...

Re: Need For Speed Undercover
I completely agree here. I tried playing MW using the wheel and it was pure fail. But somehow after watching that trailer, i think im gonna stick to ug2 when using the wheel. The main reason i feel that games like MW don't work well with the wheel, is because, imo, the wheels turn at a much slower rate than the steering wheel. I believe this is done to sort of prevent the handling being to sensitive using a keyboard.donaldgladden wrote:i still think underground 2 was way more realistic in terms of handling and drifting. Atleast with a wheel.
BTW mclaren F1 being confirmed in the game brings a soothing and peaceful feeling of satisfaction in my heart ( especially after those unsatisfying kills in FarCry 2 ).

@ t3ice: A bit offtopic, but why are you dissappointed with Far Cry 2? I was actually considering buying it, as it got quite decent reviews.
Re: Need For Speed Undercover
Lol, im not dissapointed by the game, just that killing the Ai for me, somehow, is getting very boring. The game is sweet, its got loads of mission, defiantly a buy, reminds me a bit of COD4.
There was a video posted earlier, showing the ingame menu for Undercover. Imo the menu looks really clean. Reminds me a bit about Carbon. You also notice the heat indicator on the top right.

Yeah I don't think steering wheels are full of win when it comes to pure arcade games. I even used my Driving Force GT on GRID and I could not control the car no matter how hard I tried, it was just too sensitive and twitchy. Sims are extremely impresssive with a wheel though.t3ice wrote:donaldgladden wrote:I completely agree here. I tried playing MW using the wheel and it was pure fail. I think NFS Planet is wrong. It's not the KR, just the regular GT 500 (which isn't a bad thing). The numbers (for the October 25th car) match the regular shelby better. Also i think the car that is "held up in customs" is One of these three.
1. 2006 - 2008 Dodge Charger SRT8
2. 2006 - 2007 Chysler 300 SRT8
3. 2008 Dodge Challenger ( probably this because its one of the cop cars)

Uhh.. It's an F60. I'm not sure if it's even from any NFS. The link was even from Imageshack.

It looks like an Enzo to me, but I'll trust Andre on this one.
I'm pretty sure this is fake. I can't find any such image on IGN.

I don't know which Google you're on, but the results I've gotten are perfectly accurate. The Wiki link in my previous post pretty much sums it all.
Re: Need For Speed Undercover

Re: Need For Speed Undercover
There hasn't been a Ferrari in an NFS game since the days of Hot Pursuit and Hot Pursuit 2. Why would EA try to bring that back now?
Besides, that screenshot has the IGN logo stamped on it. I looked through the Undercover sections on the IGN website and haven't found a similar screenshot. It may not be photoshopped, because I couldn't even find the same background on any Undercover screenshot. It could be a screenshot form some other game.
I'll be very very surprised if there are Ferraris in Undercover.

Re: Need For Speed Undercover
The ferrari F60 screenie is photoshopped from the Zonda screenshot.
Its the normal faking trick, inverting the background horizontally.

Re: Need For Speed Undercover
Now that pretty much clears up everything. Thanks 'Mad!
I'm waiting for a nice surprise. Anytime now would be great.
I bet people have been flooding EA's mailbox asking them to bring back the Italian Horse. Should this be the case, they have gained back my respect for finally listening to the fans.prince1142003 wrote:There hasn't been a Ferrari in an NFS game since the days of Hot Pursuit and Hot Pursuit 2. Yup! Me too.. From first glance I didn't even think it was Undercover, let alone NFS. The car's detail is way off from the official screenies EA gave for other cars. But as what Prince has said, I'll be surprised if any Ferrari were to appear in the game.prince1142003 wrote:Besides, that screenshot has the IGN logo stamped on it.
