if there is the possibility of having 20 racers in a single race then EA HAS to put a scale back mechanism i would interested to see how 1gb of ram would handle that, maybe i will have to get 2gb of ram

No, 20 players is much, but not that much...2gb of ram is maximum i think, or i think there can be 4gb aswell, if u take it 1gb per stick...anyway 1gb is nessesary to play the game, yea and a scale back mechanism would be useful!

I used fraps once to make a video of my 1337 racing skills on NFSU1.

It was so jerky that I crashed into 15 vehicles and many more walls.

Have they updated it at all?

dont forget to metion that unless you buy it the trial version only lets you record 30 second clips, i found gamecam to be a much better trial version it lets you take unlimited video clip lengths the only downside is you have to buy it in order to have sound which is alright b/c adding your own music to your clips sounds better

Pay close attention to the police chase video, you'll see a few non-police AI racers whiz by at one point. An interesting touch, don't you think?

Should make for some hectic chases. Wonder if you will be able to push cops off the canyon roads as a kind of "Pursuit Breaker", just slide into them, and over the edge they go

Microsoft Paint? Forget that crap, use FRAPS instead. Just follow the instructions and you'll be fine.

I assume that you are talking about taking screenshot from a movie.....

Well, first, problem about taking screenshot from movie is that movie is shown in so called overlay on your screen, and you can't take a snapshot of a overlay using simple print screen button. But there is a simple way to go around it....

let's say that you will play movie in Windows Media Player. First, open another movie in another player (you could for instance download Media Player Classic), and make this window small. Second, open the movie from which you want to take a screenshot in Windows Media Player and maximize this window so that it use complete screen. Third, use print screen and paste that image in Paint ;o).

well it doesn't work with Quicktime playing a movie at the back, anyway I got the pic, I just recorded a part from it with fraps and did printscreen, Printscreen never does work with DivX codec's i've realized, also Fraps has been updated alot I could play almost anything and it doesn't make my comp slow...(PM me if u want full ver of fraps)

well thats a bit obvious that u download them...or u didn't, did u darth meatloaf, to download : Click on one of the links, and then the window comes up, next to the player there is a link eg. nfs_c_drift right click save target as, or save link or something for firefox!

EDIT : found Soundtrack on megaupload, downloading to see if its any good...
