So you deny one journalist's opinion and add another as your own "evidence"? Classy.
They both have turbo-six motors, AWD, and a whole raft of electronic crap, so there isn't that much difference really.

If you want something purely "involving" and "enjoyable" then go and buy a Caterham. The sort of people who buy R35s and 911 Turbos are people who can't drive, and need a computer to do it for them.

EDIT:

And probably more reliable

And although we're straying off the topic of the Super GT R35 a bit, I'd just like to post that the Super GT "R35" is, as stated, basically a 350Z with a different body. However, it actually doesn't even share the engine with any road car - it's a specially made Nissan V8.

Are you really putting the Mustang in the same line as a Exige, EVO MR, Caterham?

some people wrote:America = phail
So my fix would be correct in some way.

no, i was really just asking if the mustang was an involving car, not anywhere as good as a evo of course, but so what?

oh, and here's a new one-Ferrari F430 Scuderia! (not quite as involving, but bloody terrific!)

You think a 430 Scuderia is less involving than an Evo?

So, Ferrari F430 Scuderia is more incolving than Evo V MR???

Yes, since there's no such thing as an "Evo V MR".

I'm going to safely assume you mean the Evo IX MR, so yes, the F430 Scuderia is way more "involving" than that.

Perhaps I should explain . . . it's because the Evo is driven by a computer. You only need to have one finger on the wheel and you can powerslide all over the place with no worries. The 430 is sort of the same, but much less so.

I'll take a R35 GTR... although it may be ugly in-game and in photos... It's unbelievable in real life... =P~
I'll get some pics up soon, but it is less than $150,000 Australian, is faster than a murcielago and veryon around the nurburgring, only beaten by the porsche carera GT and zonda... but they're limited boutique production models...
Now, it looks quite practical, you can use it as a family car at times, boot's ok size and the sound system looked quite good... I noticed 2 subs at the back between the rear seats... Yep... so there's still cash left for tuning!

Is it? I find that hard to believe.

For $200k, combine your exotic with your modified car and build something like this!

You may want to look it up then... heard it in wheels mag, at the motor show and on the rumor mill... I'd believe it... the veryon is big and heavy. The GTR is lighter and a car designed to dominate racing.

And about combining the exotic and modded... you can get a few goodies for the GTR... maybe even build my GT-X edition (street version of course, but that's not finished yet)

Big and heavy yes, but with nearly triple the HP per tonne. Faster acceleration in absolutely every way, more advanced suspention, bigger top end, larger brakes. Science and logic say you are wrong ;)

How did you work that out? It's slightly less than double.

I wouldn't be suprised it if it were true. The rumoured time for the Veyron is 7:40, with the GTR at 7:38.
If the Bugatti is indeed faster, then it's probably not by much.

Agree with boganbusman, GT-R beat Veyron's time by 2sec and LP640 and 599GTB with 9 seconds. Didn't knew about Zonda's time, all I knew was that Lexus LF-A beat Zonda's time on that track.

This is unusual:
The Nissan GT-R did a 7m38 in semi-wet conditions.
http://au.answers.yahoo.com/answers2/fr ... 649AA9uzaQ
An a amazing time for an affordable-ish car still.

http://italiansupercars.blogspot.com/20 ... -ring.html
As for the Zonda, you'd hope it's faster.

And here is a list of times... you'll find the GT-R is among some very special cars... and it's time was in damp conditions.
