It's the same body, just different engine etc.

I could care less which one though, but if I had a choice, the Pontiac version

Not that strong mate. Like most 70's cars, the chassis does not have much torsional rigidity.

If you put on some sticky tyres and drive around a corner fast enough, the chassis will twist enough to crack the windscreen.

I'm getting tired of all this GTO trashing. The GTO was used on the Holden or Vauxhaul, or HSV GTS, whatever version I don't care, the Monaro platform was used, so GM wouldn't have to spend so much damn money, developing a whole new car. They took a good existing platform, changed the look of the exterior a lil' bit. Plunked in the same 5.7 L V8 in 03' then the 6.0 L V8 for 04 to 06. It was to save money. Christ! Also, the GTO here is pretty damn fast with the same performance specs. Also the double scoop hood deal. Just to make it the Monaro look like a GTO. WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ram air stupids. Apply it to one car, apply it to all on the same platform. Uggh. Plus the Monaro has a higher pitched exhaust in Most Wanted. I choose the GTO ingame.

They're the same CAR!

Just different outsides because American's prefer more aggressive styling.

Where as Australians still prefer that Sedan look.

Either way, the car is based off a Sedan, and basically lost 2 doors.

IT IS NOT A SPORTS CAR.

Its got the handling of a boat, (not the American one, their suspension is stiffer suprisingly).

Its too expensive for something that's too heavy and can't do 0-60mph or for us Australians 0-100kph in less than 5seconds.
