Re: Movies discussion
I've read the book "The Mist" before, it was good, I hope the movie will be good, and it's really only one monster, tentacles, but the mist later transforms some animals into mutants, you know, same old same old with these monster movies.
Re: Movies discussion
That's Stephen King, right? Yeah, fail.
Re: Movies discussion

Re: Movies discussion
I'm not going to see it, I can't even stand the commercials, so no I'm not saying it's good since I'm not wasting my time and seeing it.

BTW anyone here seen 'We own the night' ?..I heard it wasn't such a biggie.
Re: Movies discussion
Rented 'The Bridge to Terabithia' last night... and I wasn't expecting anything of it, because it just looked like one of those typical Disney family movies. As it turned out, it was one of the saddest movies I have ever seen. My sister sitting next to me broke out into tears, and ran towards the Kleenex box towards the end. It was actually a real good movie though.

Re: Movies discussion
Whoops, I totally forgot about posting here about American Gangster.
It was an extremely enjoyable movie, and if you like the Godfather and other similar movies, you'll feel right at home when you watch it. But even for those that aren't as familiar with crime movies like this, it's definitely worth watching. The 2 hours and 40 minutes went by in what seemed like an hour and though the movie wasn't filled with trigger happy action the entire way through, the quieter parts were still done well. The only negative thing worth noting is that I think that the low-action scenes involving just Russell Crowe could have been a little more lively.

I agree. It's one of the best movies of the year, if not even the best imo.jacoja06 wrote:Rented 'The Bridge to Terabithia' last night... and I wasn't expecting anything of it, because it just looked like one of those typical Disney family movies. It would probably be one of my all time favs if it was made when I was 13 or something (about the same age as the kids starring in the movie).
But nonetheless a very good movie.

Re: Movies discussion
Hitman comes out in 2 days here.I've played 2 of the hitman games and they seem great so definitely going to watch it.
Re: Movies discussion
Agree with you there. Hmm, It's been nearly 2 days since I saw the movie, and I'm still feeling upset about the ending. No film I've watched has ever made such an impact... Somethings wrong with me . It should be rated T for Trauma.Pabl0z wrote:I agree. It's one of the best movies of the year, if not even the best imo.

Re: Movies discussion
The closest I've come to crying when watching a movie, was when I saw Once Were Warriors for the first time back when I was 13 or something.

Re: Movies discussion
guys, did you watched "Waking Life"? my gf recommended the movie, also the "The Wicker Man"
Re: Movies discussion
I've seen "Waking Life" once, and I gave it 10/10 @ imdb back then.
But I should see it again some day and re-evaluate my points .
I'm not sure I'd give 10/10 so easily anymore.

Re: Movies discussion
can't wait to play it, I heard it's kinda confusing and you need to be a hardheaded one to understand it.

Re: Movies discussion
Indeed... not to mention the fact that Jackass 2 is quite old now. Nonetheless, I did see it, but it wasn't the greatest movie.
