Shinyness

Post by SaT »

When I see pics on the showroom at the site, most cars' rims are very shiny. But mine always seem dull. How can I make mine look shinier?

You do not have a graphics card that can support pixel shading..

Which is most likely a geforce 2 card.

Buy a new card ;)

sometimes it can also be dependant on what color you use...........try different shades of silver, if none work then it will most likely be you're graphics card as En1ma said.

There is like a RED but it the pearlescent section - when you use it in the GLOSS option - the car looks matt (think that's the word), not glossy. That's the only effect I am aware off.

actually, my car looked un-shiny too (with my GeForce2) and i couldnt turn the graphics up in the graphics card scrreen or it would exit. i was all dissapointed too, when i got midnight club II and found out i had reaslly old drivers. after getting new graphics card drivers, the good graphics and reflections started working. try that out :)

i've tried alot of the geforce drivers with my old geforce 2 MX 64mb with 3d mark and the one i found to run geforce 2's the best is the 30.82 version.

Did u know that in the first time u paint the rimes when u choose a color but u just point on it not choose it (u dont press enter) u press BACKSPACE then it gives u a new color.
i know u dont understand but, lets say u want 2 choose the pink color on the bottom right of the color choose screen , u point on it , it shows a dark purple color , press BACKSPACE and it will be light blue
this is good ONLY 4 the lvl 3 colors , u can do the same thing 4 ur exhaust , and clippers (breaks) (but im not sure).
try it its gr8 :D
