How do you cut out your car "Perfectly"? What tool do you use in Photoshop? And finally how to use that tool?

I use a mouse, btw.

Then zoom in and click more often. More lines = smoother 'curves.'

There are two ways:

-Filter > Extract
-Polygonal Lasso

I use pen tool, even though it takes more time than using polygonal lasso, I find paths tool much much better.

If thats the tool I think it is, I've been trying to remember how to find it for about 12 months. I used it once then didn't need it for a while. And I forgot how to find it. DOH! Anyone got some more info on this for me please?

I know there's a tool that you can use to select the edges of an object. It works similar to the Filter > Extract method, but it is different. I found it easier to use. Basically you drag around the edges of the image yo want and it gets selected. I vaguely remember accessing it through the menus somehoe, but I'm buggered if I have been able to find it. :(

I think you may be referring to the magnetic lasso tool. Image

No it is most definately not the magnetic lasso tool. It's similar, but different. I wish I could describe it better... :?

If you wanna cut car perfectly, you must be sober, thats the rule number one :D

And as others told you, JUSt use Polygonal Lasso

I'm pretty sure that Harpal is talking about the pen tool, or something similar. It creates vector paths which can be accurately curved to cut out different shapes. It takes much more time, but can yield better results.

I just use the polygonal lasso. Take your time, and it's a piece of cake.

EDIT: and to everyone else who doesn't know what they're talking about, just STFU because you're only confusing the rest of us.
