No NFS On E3

EA revealed it's game lineup for this years E3 show held in Los Angeles starting this wednesday. Unlike in the past few years, EA always revealed the next Need for Speed title sometime in April and additionally showing some of it on E3. This year however, the next Need for Speed title hasn't been announced, nor is it on EA's lineup for E3. But we have received reports (thanks to Texhnolith from ND4SPDWorld) that NFS was mentioned on Sony's pre-E3 press conference and a logo NFS:Carbon was shown. Sony press conference isn't yet available on E3Insider, so we can't show you any proof yet.
We will post any new information as soon as we find out, so stay tuned.

You'll find the video on gamespot (search "Need for Speed Carbon" on gamespot), but there's nothing to see

yesterday on E3 they reveal the new need for speed carbon for the playstation 3.The r release day for the Ps3 is Nov 17 , the unit with a 20 hdd for $499 and the unit with a 60 hdd for $599

I saw that small teaser and NFS was mentioned. Nothing special but at least we do know that there is an NFS game in the works for PS3. I wonder what's up with the title? Is it just a codename? It sounds like one of those transformers game name but it does seem like it geared more towards the Underground line-up.

and came up with an explantion.

Carbon=> Carbon Dioxyde=>Smoke=>Lots of smoke=> Drift

The logo and game name look and sound so bad.

I cross my fingers this is not an underground sequel, just bring back custom to a high level and don't put only tuners.

if you go thinking like that, it could even become a home improvement game...cause if you think long enough you will find a link to something you like sometime in the near future... :S

I doubt it has ANYTHING to do with a direct link do drifting.

but if it will be a drifting game (and I doubt it) I really don't see me buying the game. cause it would be boring and useless and even to much of a hype thing.. more then the current tuner games already are.

, i reckon its a supra,too. see the car on the left side of the screen, u cant realy see anything but the beam of the headlinghts, but deep inside i hope its an S15

I'm thinking the name has something to do with exhaust - Carbon Monoxide.

So this tells us one thing about the game. The cars emit exhaust.

NFS Carbon won't stick. it just doesn't have the same ring to it as previous games. don't forget, this game is still waaaay in it's infancy. so much that EA didn't even have any concrete footage to show at E3. they just wanted the world to know that a NFS sequel is in the works. hence this teaser "trailer"

i really doubt EA will end up naming this sequel NFS Carbon. we'll just have to wait and see

Looks more like one of the Mitsubishi models *1990s*, look at the headlight shape but that could just be from the distance.

Bad on not makes no sense. The NFS Carbon name meens what wo gona race in really existing place - in USA, California, Carbon Canyon Road, Region 142.
And thats more than enought. Now we gona race in real world.
