You can also find at Gameinformer that EA revealed NFSC model and it will be Emmanuelle Vaugier:

Electronic Arts today announced that they have signed actress Emmanuelle Vaugier for Need For Speed Carbon. Currently Vaugier can be seen in CBS's sitcom Two and a Half Men as well as in the upcoming John Carpenter film Master of Horror.
Additionaly, we also have some quotes by EAcomSmoothie from the official EA boards:
About the demo:
So the demo of Need for Speed Carbon will be out much earlier than the NFS Most Wanted demo was.
What it'll contain is still being determined, but it'll give you a solid look/feel of what the core elements of the game will be.
About the customization
Most aspects of games (especially for NFS) are included if they fit or make sense to the overall concept.
The rating aspects of Underground games was included because the style aspect is core to that racing scene. Customization was scaled back in MW because the racing and cop evasion was the core concept, not customization. So where does Carbon fit in this? You'll have to wait and see.
He also said that the star rating system in NFSU2 probably wont be back in NFSC.
About the cops:
YES there will be police in the game, but not the same way as in Need for Speed Most Wanted.
and finally about the carlist:
I've not seen the list since around March. While there's always going to be one car that people feel the game must have, this list is really extensive and I'm really blown away with some f the proposed vehicles.
Once it's official, I'll make sure to shout it from rooftops.

seems so... well honestly is am suspicious about whole this. The thing that bothers me is egzotic car... who da hell is racing in a 300 000$ worth carrera GT, doing jumps and such things. That car is not racing even tho it has racing performances...
IMO that car is for getting expencive chicks and for showing of... so it doesnt fit in game IMO (so as the other egzotics)

While indeed most people buy the exotics for showing off, they have great potential on track and racing, because that's what they're made for.
EDIT: I don't like this new girl EA signed for NFS C. Why didn't they get Jessica Alba or another model, such as Adriana Lima?

Actually, in real life, I HAVE seen two exotics racing each other.
It was about a month ago, early afternoon, in Central London, between 2 sets of traffic lights (let's face it, in London, that is all the racing you CAN do!)
The two cars were a Maserati 3200GT and a Ferrari 360 Modena Coupe (I think - I'm not too good on Ferrari models). They were surprisingly closely matched - I would have thought the Ferrari would have kicked bum.

Many times I've seen exotics racing, especially on the highway:
- A Porsche 911 Cabriolet racing a modified Nissan 350Z Coupe
- Lotus Elsprit swerving through traffic, plus many more
...but if you want exotics going top-speed, go to Germany on the autobahn. People are not afraid of going 200+ km/h there. Or...watch Gumball...

Well then, take out the cheap, everyday cars which I can drive in real life... Your reasoning doesn't fully make sense...and I would wanna drift downhill in a Ferrari ...wouldn't you? I'd love to do it...Dragster wrote:Hello, it's a game, and an arcade one? You'll do ingame what you can't (or you don't want to) do in real life
