Souped up camaro

does anybody know how this is possible? i pulled this off of NFS-Planet and someone said the car was replaced with the camaro. i am wondering if it is possible to replace something like the punto with the camaro.

it's been possible for a while. but the car replacing part needs to take place in the Savegame. moving around files in the folders doesn't work. check out the Most Wanted Hex Editing guide on the top of this forum.

thanks prince i remember now how to replace cars. it was back in the early days of just figuring out how to get the camaro in career mode

i hope to have a camaro that can do over 200 mph now

you are right i am planning on replacing the punto and the punto's car performance cannot touch the Evo's

The real question here is how the guy upgraded the performance of the Camaro to such a level. If there was a way to do that I'd play MW non-stop.

basically this is how i think it canbe done. go into your savegame with a hex editor and replace the punto's hex code with the camaro's. then i am hoping the game sees that the camaro is in the punto's " spot " and then hopefully i will be able to customize it like normal. i guess sort of like the same thing arushan had to do to get the ferrari in the game and that is replace the SL65 which has limited customization abilities. but if he replaced the punto i think the ferrari would then have full customization available. i hope i might try it tonight

nope, i have no clue how that person upgraded the Camaro to such heights. when you replace a car in the savegame, the new car's files are loaded. if you try to hex-edit some parts onto the car that dont belong there, the game will crash. for example, try to put level 2 customization parts on a Camaro using hex-edit, the game will crash.

it's the default camera angle when looking at a car. it's real easy to look at another car, take a pic, and put the bars of that car on top of this. anyways, there's no point continuing this discussion unless someone comes forward and explains how to do this.

Whatever he's done (PSP IMO) he/she has terible taste in rims! They really don't suit the Camaro. Again just my opinion.

Yeah I agree with the people above. The Camaro's handling is crap according to the stock bars, so there's no way it would be full when upgraded with all regular (not Junkman) parts.

probably photoshoped, though you can put a couple of junkman parts into the camaro (those which don't need any regular upgrades first) to raise the bars a little.

all the cars are at that angle when selecting them in quick race. as you can see that is the quick race menu

same angle = same background = easy photoshopping. heck, i'd probably be able to do that in MSPaint.
