Official 12 cars to be announced

Browsing through the EA boards, i found a topic by EAcomSmoothie (EA rep) saying that the first official 12 cars will be announced next week.

Just getting the thread ready. This thread is for discussion on official announced cars only. No speculation, please.

So it seems like EA will be showing off the car list on several parts, unlike the previous years where we used to get the whole list about a month before the release date.

1. 1969 Chevrolet Camaro
2. 2006 Shelby Mustang GT500
3. Mazda RX7
4. Aston Martin DB9
5. Porsche Carrera GT
6. Lamborghini Gallardo
7. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX
8. 2006 Dodge Challenger
9. Mazda RX8
10. 2006 Dodge Charger
11. Mazda 3 Hatchback

Wow, look. We already know of more than 12 cars that have been seen in screenshots released by EA

This is what they should have said.....12 cars to be revealed...which were NOT in the
screen shots!

EDIT: also maybe they are annoncing it in groups like...Tuners , Exotics...etc
Atleast i hope they do..cuz we will get to know a few more cars.

They prolly gonna confirm 4 of each class. I just have a feeling about that.

I think they will reveal just one or two muscle cars

Ummm I'm 50% sure that they will say 4 cars from each class!

That makes sence, but there is only 2 and half months until release date! So if they confirm every month 12 cars that would be 10 cars from each class what is poor, so let's hope that we will get more cars this month!

i figured you would post this on the news after seeing this in the EA fourm. ya, i also hope they will do like four from each class. and also they did something similar with car announcing with most wanted. like several months before it came out they amnnounced four cars: bmw m3 gtr, porsche carrera gt, mazda rx-8, and form mustang gt. this time they will annonce 12, and later than mw. we will eventually get the entire car list if they announce 12 or more or less every week or month or day.

What if all the 12 cars belong only to one catagory...like only tuners
I guess we all have to stay tuned...to find out ...

Also I wonder whats taking them so long to provide the whole car list.
Is it because they havent licenced them or cuz they are afraid of
competitors snatching their new ideas or something?

i dont think that will happen...not if they want ppl to keep interested...

but imo i think they will anounce more tuners than exotics. about 6tuners and 3 of each for the other classes

yup, you are probably right ... but who knows ... prince already count 13 cars .. so we wait and see what are those 12 cars

thanks GT3x24x7 i needed that to calm my self.

I was thinking when they metioned the 12 cars could it be that they may relese a demo of carbon and have like a video or some of the new cars selectable in the demo.
