How do you enter something on free roam with steering wheel controls?

Find out which button on the wheel is the Enter key. Or configure buttons.

EDIT:
If the wheel came with it's own configuration software, you might be able to force map one of it's buttons to the Enter key.

Or use the keyboard - press the Enter key. Carbon doesn't offer a lot of in-game options for remapping keys to controllers.
