Unreal Tournament 3

Post by The Gravedigger »

I know that we had an Unreal Tournament 2007 post, but that's that....

Anyways, anyone else got their hands on the beta demo?

Here's a screeny before I spent about 3hrs playing the demo.

Guys with 8800GTX/GTS can't run this decently so i guess the demo is very badly optimized oh well, i like UT but the new ones are getting more and more bad.

Really? I have a GTS and it runs perfectly, if you type stat fps into the console you'll see that the framerate is limited at 60FPS. The lowest it's dropped to using the FRAPS monitor log thing was 45 and it was for probably 3 or 4 seconds and thats still a playable framerate. Keep in mind this is with all settings on high@1680x1050.

Well I can tell you that's a load of crap, mine runs the game fine with no single glitch in sight, yes that's at 1680*1050.

i hope you know the human eye cant see past 30?
and besides, 30 is infact enough to make it smooth enough to be playable

also.. notice the 2nd bit..
runs nice enough
