Trying to config my new game pad via eduke32 please help

I bought a brand-new controller and i'm trying to configure the controls to play duke nukem 3d: atomic edition via eduke32 and i'm having a bit of trouble redefining the buttions. Can anyone help me do it.
P.S. the controller I bought is the Xbox 360 wired controller for windows it's a third party controller not the original one.
