Nicely done. How would I be able to do a vexel with a metallic flake effect? Could you use airbrush or a filter?

Ok... here is the latest version of it.
You can also find a wallpaper size and some details explained in there.

Metallic flake... hm, i have never tried it, but i would go for filter. Render-Noise, or Grain. I believe thats the easiest way.

Here is a little something something

Nice. How did you learn to do the MC12 though? Tutorials? Or did you just figure out the pen tool and work from there? lol.

I'm still all into the whole "chop-shop" stuff. This is my latest, the 2009 Audi A3 Sportback.

You should get better CF pattern, this one looks odd. And if you have seen CF in real life you would have known that its not whole "meshed"... only the specular part, rest is gloss black. Also it doesn't reflect any ambient light, with in this case is orange (since its sunset). Same goes for rims, witch could have some more shadows. And the vinyl is bad.
I guess you are very new to this chopping. But hey, everybody gets better with time and practice.

The CF pattern looks odd because its not CF from the actual hood of a car. It's a tutorial .

However, what really gets me is this:

You really think my best is this? This only took me 10 minutes, I've done much better before....Get a clue before making accusations.

So you expect him to assume you've done better chops, before, based on what information, exactly?

If the link doesn't work, click search then under search by user type in Murcie_LP640. 3 out of 5 of those cars have been published in Hot4s' Chop Shop section.

I'm doing cover art for a DVD, but I need templates. I need one for the case, Which is your standard size, and the disc itself. Cheers if anyone can help me out.

This is a concept car I drew up today, then rendered with photoshop. Just trying to fill up my gallery space. I'm not sure if I should go ahead and complete this, or start a new one with a better view/perspective of the car. I might consider this one as a bit of a test version. :) But I do like it!

Well i would say it has been greatly inspired by latest Mazda concept car. The fluid lines on the side, the blunt nose, the string LED headlights (Furay)... It doesn't look bad, just that those headlights really don't have much in common with the rest of the lines. Well, i presume that's your first try, and i can tell, its better than mine first try, so its... relatively good. =D>

Great, thanks for the comments. It's good to have a little input before I do the real thing. Those headlights were tricky, so I wanted something that would stand out of the ordinary. So I made two strands on neon spaghetti. And you're right, the design came mostly from Mazda concept cars and deviantart artists. I've been real jealous of some of their work :P

The tutorial I followed for some of the rendering:
http://husseindesign.deviantart.com/art ... I-35243447

But yes, I'm starting over for something more original and artistic. Don't want it to look like it's been entirely draw with help from a tutorial. Not cool...

Dude, regardless of your skill level, He was merely saying that your CF sucks. And it does! he was just stating the facts.

What I said was not aimed at his comment of my CF hood. End of story.
