I'm on this one drift event late in the game that goes downhill. I can do every other one but this one I just can't hit the needed point mark. I keep running into the (pardon my french) firetruck bastard traffic, which kills my drift points. How would I go about totally removing the traffic from the game? It is useless and hence serves no purpose but to mess you up.
On the downhill traffic is a friend for higher score, they serve as a moving bonus zone, near them your points do rack up.
The RX-7 is great for downhill, have never had any better downhiller, though it keeps skidding its rear pretty long so you have to be careful around traffic but good response is the key.
Just put away the game for a while, play some HL2 or whatever other game you like then return.
Just remember, remain concentrated, the moment you lose concentration you are unable to handle the traffic.
