sometime , i receive phone call telling me that (beackon hill... got racers)

therefore , i race all the way to beacon hill, and actually dont find any outrun arrow.

i wander what does it means.

does it means there is some hidden race along beacon hill?

or

is it a bug?

dude you dont have to find outruns,but races
dont waste your time.....just go to your garage-->world map
race and don't forget to restart to earn some cash (you can restart immediately after entering the game)

what u mean by restart

all i know is i enter world map, race those missing races.

then upon saving, i exit back to explore

that all i do

also if u dont race around to find races, rather choosing world map, well probably is mean for those people who has completed the game, but not me

therefore i prefer to run around

you wont earn money the first time you race by entering an event from the world map

example : you chose a drift race in world map..you start it,at the end of the race there will not be a message telling you won some cash
what you have to do is restart the race WHEN YOU'RE IN THE RACE,and your 850-2200 credits will be added to your bank (for each race of course)

that's all I mean

I'm not telling you have to do twice the same event.....just press escape->restart at the beginning

Oh, those phone calls from an unknown guy.....

Always the same sentence:

"Hey dude.... I have smth for you.... (Bacon hill/airport/Plaza Hotel) .... Hope to see you around here... Ok mate ... C ya"

At least in the Spanish version there was a very low variety in the calls.

On the other hand, the Outrunners had a different funny sentence each time

I thought the phone messeges were to let you know of hidden races in the Explore map ( the one that don't show up on your mini-map)

Your right but you don't have to find the hidden races. because when you compleet the game go back to your garage and then to world map every race you din't compleet you can do them hidden and story mode races

You are right, and this is part of the game in my opinion. Its part of driving around trying to find the other racers and race them, yeah you can use the world map, but i dont think thats what it was intended for and personally i have more fun driving around trying to find the races than just going off the world map.

how about those missing unique, is there a way to get back the the unique upgrade if you race again based on world map?

No not even when you go outside the garage you can do outrunes for extra money to mod up to 5 cars to max but you can't get the missing unique's
