Well everyone has been having that problem it seems. For me it will do that on certain parts briefly then go to normal, sometimes it's longer sometimes hardly at all. Fraps1.9D is the way to go though. I would reccomend messing with your video settings(i.e. lowering them all around) and turning off things that are sort of useless. Like light trails, weather, motion blur, etc. Unless you ABSOLUTELY need those in the movie.

You could also try recording it slow then going into whatever you use to edit videos and doubling the playback speed. I'm not sure if the rate in which it records slow at is actually half speed, but it might be. If that works let me know cuz that would help out greatly.

Doubling the speed doesn't do anything, I've already tried. With me sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. And 250mb of ram is impossible :)

1.9d worked to clear up some lag issues with U1, but U2 is different. You just need lots of ram and a good video card. I don't know why it goes slow sometimes and not others, I don't make movies enough to really do anything about it though :)

You can buy Fraps 2.0, not the newest but similar, can record sound and all. I'll PM you with the details. (If you know how to PM - private message - on this site.)
