Musically Inclined?
Do any of you play any instruments? I play some keyboard (electric piano thing), a little drums and I used to know some guitar chords.
How about the rest of you?

I don't play any instruments, but I'm making a guitar at school so I will be playing that.
It will look similar to this (hopefully):

I've changed the design a bit, and I'm using nickel-plated Humbuckers instead of open-coil pickups. I'll post pic when it's finished (might be a while).
Anyone heard of FL Studio?
And Goldwave too (though I've heard there are better tools available now).
But I only do it for fun though, I remember making a Britney Spears and Eminem mix when I was 13 or so
Good stuff. A bit complex but the only thing limiting you is your imagination with it.FL Studio is a full-featured sequencer perfectly suited for creation of complex songs and realistic drum loops, with 32 bit internal mixing and advanced MIDI support. The resulting song or loop can be exported to a WAV/MP3 file and all MIDI events can be exported to a standard MIDI file.
And Goldwave too (though I've heard there are better tools available now).

well, drummachines alone are not useful, its just you have to cacade them with other apparatus... sequencers, filters, effects
on a slow pc, just install propellerhead's Rebirth 2
on a fast pc (and if u have patience with wiring) install propellerhead's ReWire 2.5

i guess it might be ok, its got the arch on the bottom so you can set the guitar on your lap, im used to playing on a V, andi have the guitar between my legs, have you ever played a bc rich beast?? it looks good but its not the best guitar to play with cause its so damn uncomfortable, i suggest you put a very good distortion puckup like a seymour duncan, or dimarzio, humbucker in the bridge position, and a very nice single coil pickup in the mid position so you can have a good clean sound.
not always true about the drummachine it kinda depends on what u use it for like what you're doing it's pobably true now what i would mostly use it for is to play different drum grooves . i forget what my drum teacher called it , but you put on a certain beat and then play a different one at the same time for example: you put on a funk beat and then acually play jazz or songo, etc and it just checks your timing on the different grooves anyway thanx for the links i'll check that out909 wrote:Ray-Ray wrote:I always wanted to get into that kinda stuff and i really want/need a drummachine maybe i'll look on ebay when i get some money (i'm broke right now )909 wrote:more on the PC side of instrumentalisation...
