CMR 3 is horrible - it's not a sim, it has the Y Axis game engine (as opposed to the 4 point like in NFS PU, or even CMR4). CMR3 has very few cars and tracks to race on. It's the biggest disappointment in rally games for a long time.

And a SIMULATION - that has to be F1 challenge 99-02, That game on the full sim level is unplayable. You have to understand telemetry and stuff. That's why the game is branded as EA SPORTS, not EA Games.

yeah, that game rocks. I also like MotoGP2, and there was Superbike 2001 or something, people say it was an ultimate bike race sim. I also rank NFS PU as one of the best race sims.

The game i would classify as the best simulation racing game ever must be the Grand Prix Legends by Papyrus! The feeling of the old GP cars from the 1967 season...and the especially the noice they make, btw i think the Ferrari 312 F1 sounds amazing!!

I love to just put my stereo on full and rev that Ferrari up and go as fast as i can around SPA, Monza and GrÃ¼ne HÃ¶lle!!

You know my feelings on the matter - Gran Turismo 3 owns. And it will be owned by Gran Turismo 4. You'll not convince me otherwise, regardless of platform...

F1 Challenge is best. Richard Burns rally is supposedly the best rally sim (full sim - CMR series is still arcade-ish) once it's released in May.... win the fight Burnsie!

UrQuattro is right colin mcrae 3 is a huge dissapointment
but you cant say that colin mcrae 2.0 is an arcade game.
It was quite realistic ,much more than 3,
and even if it is an old game you cant rule it out.
i havent played richard burns rally,
so i dont know what it is like.

I agree..... I think Viper Racing is still the best although it's been 7 years in the making...

It's still the best simulation pc driving games for me... & I m still working on it to improve my driving skill.....

uhmmmm ... no ... never tryed that ... but I tryed the effects of the hundreds of different car settings, the joy of winning some races after upgrading, and the difficulty in handling my car after I hit another fella and my front bumper kicked into my forewheels ... :p I learned evrything about cornering and how to tackle turns the right way, and developed my sense of horror for touching anything LOL! HONK MY WAY !!! COMING THROUGH!!! HOOOOOOOOONK!!!
