Fav Bands

Post by Jopuma »

I want to see what people like here. It doesn't have to be your absolute fav. It can be any CD that you like. Post the name of the CD and a comment about it with a picture of it. Here's one of mine.

PROJECT 86
Rock/Post Hardcore/Alternative
This CD is a must have. Interesting music and lyrics mixed in with a Christian perspective. Best songs: Safe Haven, Shadow on Me, Spy Hunter

Demon Hunter: Summer of Darkness

Image

This CD is ok, but I wouldn't buy it. The only songs I like from it are Not Ready to Die and My Heartstrings Come Undone. Those are the only good ones on it. If there aren't more than 6 songs that I like on a CD I won't buy it.

Kids in the Way: Apparations of Melody

Image

This is a good rock/screamo/indie CD if you want that music style. Head banging rock and good lyrics mixed with a good message. This is a CD I'm gonna buy and I give 5 stars too.

This is turning into the "What CD are you Listening to right now." Does that Topic name bring back memories? Well might I remind you it was locked due to the complete uselessness of it. Just want this topic to be useful to actually talk about bands and not posting the names of their CDs.

Young Buck is the newest addition to Gunit. He represents Tennesee and is probobly known by most people as a 'real gangsta' when he stabbed someone at the MTV video awards. I personally like all his songs due to how funny he raps about him and his guns. :P

And their concerts... Biggest screen in the world (ZooTV). They even came to Perth during their Popmart tour :D (I was to young to see them :( )

"I'd like to give a message to the young people of America. That is, we shall continue to abuse our position and f--- up the mainstream."
- Televised live (and uncensored) during the 1994 Grammy Awards, this promise by Bono, lead singer and spokesman for the supergroup U2, was fulfilled.

UNWRITTEN LAW - MUSIC IN HIGH PLACES
awesome acoustic CD, you should own atleast 4 copies

that concludes the awesome for today, you will realise there are no wannabe rappers posing next to large rims on these covers. Also i wouldnt think of Linkin Park as alternatives, seeing as theyre all over MTV & the radio.
