Post by Sir Ibi »

WHY!?

Seriously, people make cars, and dedicate them to other users, but why. What benefit does anyone get out of it? And it seems like everyone is doing this, its seems really bizzare! Perhaps someone can enlightmen about this..

it happened a lot with Showroom 2! dunno, it seems something that a boyfriend would do to a girlfriend when requesting a song on the radio

and why do it? your not getting any thing out of it but a "Thank You! :D " not like your getting paid...

I dedicate this post to my buddy The_stig.

IM in an argument with myself.

Evil: Ibi your so correct,

Good: I think dedication cars might have a purpose. They may just have a good friend, doen the screens for them or even so...

Evil: To try and get to the good side of them by kissing upto them.

You get higher votes from the on you dedicated it for.

You'll maybe get higher votes if dedicate to a "famoues" person.

And it's a nice thing to do :)

Well my car is dedicated to to The GraveDigger (Mustang) and I plan on make just Two more then I'm done with them. But again I don't see the problem with it. :?

There isn't any problem with it I guess, but it just seems to me like a blatant piece of kissing up to get some extra ratings for your car, I mean if you wanna dedicate the car to someone (which is fair enough) Why don't you just send them the presention, and they can upload it to their garage as "gift" if they wanted too....

Dedicate ride for other person just for high points is stupid IMO. But i think not much users here dedicate rides for each others for extra points, it's just like a tradicion or something like that.

I don't really care about getting points you know. But of course it comes naturally that I don't like lower votes.

But when you get high votes all this stuff is boring.

Stuff:making and uploading rides.

Why boring:making a car, uploading it, getting many 10. making a car, uploading it, getting many 10.

I prefer lower votes, then i can think what is wrong with my rides and fix the problem and in this way, making and uploading cars is not so boring, because when you upload a new ride, you expect higher votes :D

Honestly, it still boggles me, why the f-ck do people dedicate the cars to people THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW! Honestly, whenever you're dedicating a car, you're supposed to dedicate it to someone that's your friend, not some famous guy that you have no idea who they are, but you're only doing it so that you can get higher ratings just because it's dedicated to SpeedC, | WELCU | or enzo.ph, or anyone else that's widely known that you know nothing about them.

I don't see a problem - if ppl want to dedicate, let them go ahead. You don't have to like it.

Obviously there isn't a problem with it, if people want to dedicate cars that's fine, but I still think its wierd - Kinda like people who only drink Diet Cola, when they are not on a diet, or people who replace offensive words with cute words, like Fudg, or Shoot..or when someone at work complains that they are doing overtime, when it is optional.... for me its just odd

I kinda like the idea of people dedicating cars. I thought it was a rivalry at first to say "My car is better than yours". BUT IT WASN'T THAT. By the way how do i get my cars on the top 3?
