I hadn't though about that...I rate every car that challenges me, but don't always comment. Guess I should start...

I've been seeing duels lately where a very good car out of one garage has challenged what was obviously the weakest example from another member when better cars were avail, so I ask this... Have you ever turned down a duel? I haven't but have came back afterward with a different ride to beat the car...

RVD...So sorry about the typo...it wasn't intentional. I just unlocked the upper tiers of performance for my RX-7 also and I noticed the same thing...Makes for a fun game I guess. More realistic is usually more fun for me, but if were as you and I wish then simply finding the best balanced car would...

As old as this thread is I hope you'll get my reply. LOL The image you linked to is not a PS2 garage for NFSU2. I am using PS2 and none of my garages look anything like that. Jer

Well hell! I just checked the EA site and the PS2 version of NFSMW really doesn't play online. I hadn't been ready to buy it yet, and probably wouldn't have thought to make sure it did! I'm glad you said that.

Try actually lowering your final drive ratio to overcome the drag created by the downforce. I've found that in almost every car I've tuned, gearing a little more toward acceleration will raise your top speed. This trick works very well with low HP cars in the early stages of the game. Jer
