Need help making my GT Mustang not look like crap (NFSU2)

I've decided to make my fourth and final car (the fifth is going to be an SUV) a Mustang GT (mostly since I don't like the skyline or RX-7, and already have a 350Z), yet it's really damn hard to get a good vinyl setup for one.

Usually I'd make it yellow with a green body 4 vinyl (looks sexy as hell), but I've already done that on a tiburon I had before. Anyone know any good color/vinyl combinations for one?

Here's a SS of the current design I'm thinking of (artificially brightened 'cause the silver pearl paint on NSFU2 is too dark)

I'm sorry, but that's UGLY. Try experimenting with different combos and not just one vinyl.

Vell, that's the problem - there isn't really any decent looking vinyls. Most of them either look too busy (tribal, splash, wild), too crap (flame, modern) or too boring (stripe), and none of them cover the center of the car, only the sides.

I've got a hood vinyl on in the image. But the problem is that they all look like crap.

Speaking of which, is the actual color bad (in your opinion) too, or just the vinyls?

The colours are okay, but the body is bad. Especially the scoops and the rims, just my opinion.

Problems being:

- All the 'good' rims look like crap
- I don't think there's a single non-bling looking scoop in the game
- Same goes for spoilers

The hood -should- be the high-level split hood (the one with the intake and such), but I haven't unlocked it in this game yet.

Everyone has their own taste, and if you like those parts, it's your choice. Not everyone has the exact same taste as everyone else.

take off the hood scoot, 6 inch brakes, body vivyl, hideos rims, reatarded tint, and ugly hood, and the car wouldnt be so bad, and o yea, try a different spoiler.

If it's not 10-star, I can't get it on the DVD covers and thus can't actually finish the game. Kinda makes things difficult.

the game's star system is flawed. apparently, the uglier you make your car look, the more stars you have. my advice? finish career, doesnt matter if it's with a hideous car. then once you unlock all the parts, go customizing in my cars section.

In other news, I think I actually succeeded in making the car look worse, not better, by experimenting.

To get the 10 star use an SUV, since they hit the 10'n much aesyer than cars, and they look like crap right from the beginnig.

It's nice, but get some uniques for it, like the wide body, because it's the only car that looks decent with a wide body kit (other than rx-7) Use carbon split hoods, and you could go for the "full carbon racer look".
