It takes a while to complete, but I think it's well worth it.
IMO it's good of EA to be asking gamers for their thoughts on such a scale, rather than some limited survey, or worse, the feelings of a bunch of marketing suits...

it took them 6 months... sounds about right for a feedback form.
It's a nice survey, I like the concept Idea - simply because the mentioned Aude LeMans there... ANd from the choice of cars they suggested, again they puzzled me... Mentioned some wierd stuff.. But 2002 M3 sounded great! And no mention of Alfa Romeos, or Audis...
Oh, and they kept giving this option of how 'GRRREAT the sense of speed was' - think they overestimated the importance of that.
Overall, nice to see them asking people.

That survey bring me hopes to see another tuning NFS game soon. And hope the next time with dash, damage, cops, day-weather change option, open cities, more variety of tracks,...
We, the creators, should request a program for create parts, cars, tracks,... and the no creators too for play to our creations.

I think that was a good survey. I really hope that they dont mix the muscle wit the tuners. I have appreciation for both. If they want to have the new and old muscle cars in a game, and have the engines high customizable or whatever, thats cool. But we all know that dollar for dollar(or whatever currency you have), that if you invest the same amount of money int something like a '69 Camaro and some tuner car, the camaro would tear it apart.
LOL! Yeh I saw them in there too, and I made damn sure I didn't tick their boxes!!TheStig wrote:I only hope they don't put any FUGLY SUV like escalades in it...

I hoped they did it the same way as in the list with the cars you already have in the game:
wich you like and don't like....
but no they did not... else I would have choosen the Escalade H2 andso on... AS ABSOLUTELY NOT WANTED!!!!!!!!!!
BTW I just had to do the survey at home also.... good answers twice can't harm

Escalades, Hummer H2... what the hell were they smoking when they came up with those options... For traffic cars, YES, for game, no way!!!!!!! The moment there is a friggin big bumbum Escalade in NFS than it's time to find another title to play with..
And true on mixing up tuners and Muscle - totally different mentality, it's restoration vs. rice... please EA DON'T mix them up.. When things are mixed up either side become mediocre... I want a solid game, not a salad of cars without real purpose. Story line is so important...
BTW, it's obvious games won't be realistic, they didn't ask if we want a sim or an arcade... Didn't that struck you as an obvious miss out?? They could have learned something... But they just assumed that we want and arcade... And what happens when you ASSume to much?

Naw... not surprising really, all the major carcos have a real aversion to letting people crash test their prides and joys in a virtual world using someone else's exaggerated damage model. They figure it's bad for business to see their cars exploding to pieces at the brush of a wall, catching fire, etc. I figure they're prolly right!
Yeh agreed on that. Heh - when they asked in the survey about what you liked best, the plot line was listed - made me laugh that they would even put it there. The plot is very thin to start with and half the time you can't hear what the characters are saying cuz the music comes in over the top of 'em...
First time I went through I got to where you race TJ and it says sth like 'TJ messed up Samantha's ride...' - I'm like WHO messed up WHOSE ride??? And WHO really cares anyway??? lol!!
