nfsmw disc 3 not working

my friend got nfsmw black edition and when its installing on it says "insert disc 3"
we take out disc 2 and put disc 3 and then put ok on the lilttle window, but it stays on 63% and doesnt move the disc doesnt even read (you cant hear it reading)

the cd drive maybe needs a clean? or maybe your cd drive is dead???

This has happened to me with a number of different CD's, you just to give it a good cleaning.

if you have 2 cd drives, you have to alternate

Mine can't install the whole game in just one drive

Umm... no you don't. I don't know what's wrong with your computer, but I have two CD drives and I installed the game on only one CD drive.

the comp is new it cant need cleaning and all the other cds work well

Try making an image of the cd and loading it with Deamon Tools or something. It could work. Or not.

nope. it's got a bonus DVD, and is available in DVD format in certain countries, but is mainly a PC-CDROM

no disc 3 not the special the special works but disc three doesnt he changed it for a new nfsmw and still disc 3 dont work

Return it to place of purchase and ask for an exchange. I had to do this with Doom 3 [Disc 3] and FarCry [Disc 2]. Sometimes CD's just come packaged screwed up.

i tryed it in my pc and it worked here but my pc has 246MB of RAM and you need 256MB of RAM so it was slow i uninstalled it
it dont work on his is it because its a laptop??

well all of your facts or telling are only theories(some of them are true).ive studied computer programming and computer assembly.the 3d disk is either corrupt,missing some files,scratched or dirty.bec. if your cd-rom drive is dead or not working then how did you install disk 1 and disk 2? and i have only one cd-rom drive which has cd-w,cd-rw,dvd-rom,dvd-w,dvdrw.i only have one and it works you dont need 2 drives(you only need them if you hav low config. of computer).If they allow me to attach Disk 3 on this forum then i will but i will be banned for attaching the Disk 3 so i cant attach it.
here's my pc config.
3.4 ghz intel pentium 4 CPU
512 mb of ddr AGP(video card)
1024 of RAM
180 GB of Hardisk(i have one har disk only)
10mb of Broadband.
20 inch LCD monitor.
Wireless optical mouse and keyboard.
A built in sound card Motherboard.
I created my own pc, so i know more about computers and a little about games.
Ataraxia you hav doom3 me too also the expansion its the coolest 1st person game.
About the 3rd disk like they say return as soon as possible before the warranty or gurantee is finished~ i made my post long so you guys would stop telling me to Edit.
its only 63% bec. maybe my answers(above) are right or its having difficulty reading the disk bec. its a large game that occupies your com.
yes it will install when you insert disk 1 it will say ex: 3gb for all the disks.
say yes. then it will install.that means it has already calculated how much memory is used to install all 4 disks or 3 disks before you insert the 2nd disk.im trying to say when it calculates how much is used and remaining before the 2nd disk or the process is started it already know how much is needed to intall all the disks. ok ~ESEY~

It wouldn't stop at 63% because there isn't enough space; it calculates the amount of space required before installation and if there isn't enough space it won't install.
