Woooo! /o/
Just got myself a 7900GTO, which is a 7900GTX with lowered memory clocks. Only a sick 250 dollars! (Even less)
Meant for the OEM market, but gone retail. Some pics:
Gonna run it stock first and see if it can run GTX speeds later.

Yeah, it's a GTX with underclocked memory speeds. For even cheaper than the 7950GT.

Thanks guys.
My old one was a 6800GT. Not the worst, can do the most demanding games above medium but wanted more.
Also, the 7900GTO doesn't cost jack especially if you look at what it actually is. You're buying a GTX that normally is much more expensive, only having slower memory clocks. (Which you can put to GTX speeds)

yea i was going to say you can always overclock it to whatever the GTX speeds are and maybe a little bit beyond that. im running NGO modified drivers with my overclocked 6800 GT and im loving it atm, FEAR has never looked so good

I currently have a 6600 GT. Was waiting for the 7900 to come down in price.

Can I have it? Please? Since it's basically useless to you.

Hey I was gonna ask that. You probably have a better graphics card than I do.

You can actually flash the BIOS on the 7900GTO to a 7900GTX, just thought I'd let you know about that PSZeTa, which then means you can easily have the same clockspeeds (and even as high an overclock on some 7900GTXs) as the 7900GTX without any additional stress as it has a 7900GTX cooler :p

I didn't catch any of that.
Though through a few readings it's clearer now. Now when I get mine I'll be able to apply that.

Well, he has a 64-bit CPU compatible board, so I would't doubt it's also PCI-E compatible.

I get allowance $25 a month and work for my neighbor for $18 a week.
If I'm determined it won't take long to get it.

18x+(25x)/4=250
Assuming that a month is 4 weeks, find x.
That'd take almost 3 months.

Hehe..I got a 7900 GTX from newegg for somewhere around 400$
I got it shipped at my place on Friday...
it looks o_0....
I thought it was water cooled or something...due to the pipes

It's some sort of ''water'' cooling.
The pipes have some kind of liquid in there. When heated, it evaporates and moves the heat towards the sinks.
